Nonen was carded for her effort. “It was tactical,” said Nonen. “Five minutes left in the game, I had to have the team pumped up and play their hardest in the last five minutes. I have nothing against Prinz personally. She caused a couple of fouls and [the push] was pretty much to get the team pumped up.”

“No, as a matter of fact, he did everything he did to keep it under control,” responded Stone. “There were more cheap shots being thrown in last five minutes of that game than I’ve seen in a long time. We got out fouled 18-9. For all those people who say we beat people up, we only committed 9 fouls in an hour and a half tonight. We made some silly ones at the end, they made some silly ones at the end and I thought the ref was right on top of it.”
