Imagine watching a 0-0 snoozer between NE and KC, and having "Gamebreak" style highlights of a 4-3 thriller between SJ and Chicago, that is playing simultaneously, during goal-kicks.

These broadcasts have the potential to be much livelier than the ones on ESPN.

There was a thread on the MLS forum a while ago about improving the broadcasts and I suggested this as well. Its sort of similar to the Champions League broadcasts except they would show all of the highlights.

"content"?

we don't need no stinking "content"

bump-ing does have good purpose when someone is looking for help or information - or a thread is supplies key info like tailgate or travel info and has not been stickied.

I think I understand.

So if someone writes "bump" within their post, are they trying to get the attention of a moderator, so that the mod can put the thread at the top of the page? The moderator then puts the thread at the top of the page, but it is not stickied.

Is this correct?

Thanks in advance. :)

No. EVERY new post puts a thread back at the top automatically, whether you post "bump" or the entire text of Don Quixote. A sticky artificially stays at the top, and is only given such status by a mod.

So lets see if I got this "bump thing down.

Am I right? I think I understand now. :) ha ha ha

In all seriousness thank you all in helping me to better understand something as trivial as a "bump" on a SAG message board.

I wonder if the newly announced agreement between FSW and Bigsoccer will affect this deal in any way.

Maybe BigSoccer.com will present the MLS show on FSW?

Good work. I knew $30/premie would help, but a FSW contribution could really help. :)

120??!! I would assume it's a combination of FSW and the regional networks.

That show is about the last place I would go to for reliable information. It's a good show for fan discussion, but unless they have a guest on that spills something, those guys are clueless.

Yeah, thanks.

Although we're "clueless" we did manage to have David Sternberg in studio last night for about an hour and a half.

He's the SVP and General Manager of FSW/FSWE and others.

Talked about MLS, EPL, Latin America etc.

Archive is on line now.
