Less than two months from kickoff and the U.S. is as healthy as we've been any time since WC2002.

Which of the top 30 players or so are even dinged at this point? Can we keep a running injury list and make it a sticky?

... except for the fact that JOB isn't allowed to play on a wet field at this point, reyna is how far removed from his screwed up elbow (?), beaseley must be carrying some injury at this point, GAM's toe.

Not to be a negative jerk, but there are several injury concerns. ALso, this thread will be much more useful in about two weeks when the team is announced.

Spector possibly broke his collarbone/seperated his shoulder just now.

I blame this thread.

No problem being honest, but don't be fictional.

1. JOB is not allowed to play much on a dry field -- his currently playing tiem issue is more a matter of rust than injury -- he just isn't that effective right now.

2. Reyna is a couple games removed from his ankle injury and seems to be rounding into fitness and playing through some other nits.

3. Beasely? No indication he is injured.

4. Johnson is obviously fine as he has played a lot of minutes and looks fine physically. His problem, if there is one, is form not injury.

Even with Spector, this is as healthy as the USMNT has been in a while.

I know. There should be a rule about this and the "who can we least afford to get injured" threads. We don't need this extra jink when we're counting on Reyna and O'Brien (the don't touch me or I might break twins) to be healthy. Now I've done it.

And even with Spector, there's NO ONE we're currently sure won't be available in June. That's pretty remarkable -- even if it's likely to change.

Superstition aside, the chances that 25-30 pro athletes play for two months and none of them get injured is slim.

Dislocated his shoulder, so not so bad.

For the record Martin, Reyna broke his ankle, then upon return hurt his shoUlder. So the injury he is coming back from (has played the last 2 games for Man City, I believe), is the SHOULDER, not the ANKLE.

Spector's injury hurts his chances badly, good news for Frankie, Albright, and possibly Berhalter.

...

The guy mentioned an "elbow" injury, so I don't know which injury he was referring to. OK?

Bocanegra has been hurt for Fulham for some time. Can't remember what's injured, though.

Boca has a foot injury.

There's also been a couple injuries which have kept players from getting real consideration from Arena, namely Chris Armas, Conor Casey and Nate Jaqua, though the last two are back and playing now.

Once again, not enough to stop him playing 180 minutes last week.

What about TT and Wolf's "Nogoalitis"? That seems to be an emerging issue.

How is it "premature" to keep an ongoing list of who's injured and who's not? It's handy to have it in one place.

As for the rampant superstition...

I've got a great bet for each of you. I'll flip a coin until it comes up heads ten times in a row and then give you 1:2 odds that it comes up heads the next time too.
