Bad news, I'm afraid: no Mutu, and the Steaua players are not real. :(

On the bright side, at least the players on the Bucharest team have Romanian-sounding names. Except the goalie, who is "from Portugal" (when in reality I think Steaua has a Brazilian goalkeeper). So I think the players are at least based on their counterparts. Also, the red and blue kits are there.

Bought it. Haven't played it yet but I really want to know what's going on with Mutu. I'm gonna call them.

Of course. They have had the Romanian national team in like every one with the real players except Mutu. Chivu is Romanian and he's Roma's best defender. I just don't know why Adi is getting such poor treatment. Euro 2004 was the last time he was in it.

Romanian players aside, how do you like the CL game? I like how it plays better...it's slightly more realistic gameplay-wise (defenders cut off more passes, it's hard to chip shots over the goalie, etc). I don't like, however, how difficult the Treble mode is and how can't always play full games in said mode.

I like it alot. I find it alot harder to control the ball which is nice. I really have to work the ball around as the defenders close so fast. I'm yet to try this treble mode.

I just started the treble and I absolutely love it. However, the only problem I have is how the Chairman gets to tell me how to run the team. I can't start a game unless his Starting 11 are out there. The playing only a little bit if the game in certain situations is fun.

I've only played 2 games so far. 4-1 friendly win against Motherwell and a scrappy 2-2 friendly draw in Korea against Galatasaray. I have the beasts in the season opener. Weird thing about the game against Galatasaray was that I only got to start in the 55th minute and it was right after a foul committed by me. It was 1-1 and there had been 4 yellow cards handed out already. It was cool how they set it up.

Yea, they have that mode too. This is write your own though, but in a scenario. Very cool.

The random start in the game scenario sounds cool, though. I'll have to get my hands on that when I get more birthday money, heh.

You are so right. This is near impossible. They are giving me the biggest BS situations. 2-0 down at the half to Reading, 2-1 down with 5 minutes left to West Ham, 1-0 down to Spurs in the 71st with Spurs taking a Penalty. Just did the Spurs one. Given saved the PK, Ameobi scored, Berbatov scored and Nobby just knocked home a stoppage time equalizer from a FK.

I guess that's why they give you the option of replaying a scenerio or rewinding your season (not realistic, but hey, wtf why not).

******** this game. They want me to sell Owen. They made up some BS about him and Parker getting in a fight on the field, and how Owen isn't happy at Newcastle. And now the fans boo him everytime he touches the ball, even when he scores.

Crazy! I hope the same thing doesn't happen with my Bayern treble mode. One of my fictitious young strikers scored a hat trick against Bochum (in a sim match), now the fans are raving about him. The chairman forced me to start him the next game, and he scored again. Now the papers say Makaay's unhappy. Hopefully he won't leave!

He's done. That's the exact same thing that happened to me. Doyle scored 3 against Watford and then 1 against Arsenal. Leading to Owen feeling shown up. Then he and Parker got in a fight and now he plays for Everton.
