Hi, folks,

I was thinking about the rivalries involving national teams all around the world and I got curious to Know which is the Czech team's most hated oponent. Can you give me this information?

Thanks a lot.

Well in hockey Cezchoslovakia-USSR was even more heated than USSR-Canada.

And what about football? Is it against Russia (or URSS) too?

I'm honestly not too sure about football. I'd say Poland, Germany, and Slovakia.

Well, there is no hated opponent for the Czech Republic in general. Nowadays, the biggest rival would be probably Slovakian team, they were and are still our "brothers" so mutual match would have the same taste as in ice-hockey. However, they are not definitely a hated opponent :)

Holland or Germany may be named as other rivals for us in football... but it can not be generalized

Holland and Germany

Yeah, I forgot about Holland. I suppose that rivalry has really progressed over the past few years.
