A KC radio station just started doing this not too long ago and I gotta say... I love it! Music just absolutely sucks now as I'm sure all of you have noticed. Any others radio stations do this?

I just heard Everclear, Green Day, the Meatpuppets. :D

Nice, it's not the crappy 90's! (Britney, Prozzak, Savage Garden, Puff Daddy, etc.)

Actually Right Here, Right Now was played, but never posted it. Damn good song.

Any other favs from the 90's? Harvey Danger was pretty cool. They also played Trippin Daisy, never could stand that song though.

"November Rain"? Can't get no better than that. There's also a special place in my heart for the Cardigans.

You mean Fatty McGoo and the 3 guys who aren't Slash?

Early to mid 90's music was great. You could turn on the radio or mtv and see stuff like Luscious Jackson,Big Head Todd and the Monsters,The Butthole Surfers,Beck,No Doubt,Our Lady Peace,Everclear,Cowboy Junkies,Green Day. There were plenty of great 1 hit wonders during that time too. Remember that song 'Brimfull of Asha on the 45' ? Or that song by Hum 'She's out there counting stars' or whatever it was called. 1998 alternative rock started to die with all the pop rock crap like Matchbox 20,Third Eye Blind,Smashmouth,Sugar Ray was what they called rock music.

Ok, here's a song I can't quite remember, one hit wonder, maybe... '95? The band was just some guys name. I can't remember it at all, or any of the lyrics so I'm sure I'm going to get nowhere with this one. Maybe it'll come to me eventually, I dunno. Throw some names out there for me though. I wanna say it was kind of an older sounding song, I can picture the video and he used one of those microphones that someone like reverend Horton heat uses. Hmmm..

I just thought of some more 1 hit wonders that got a lot of play. 'Drugs' by Amonia. 'Drawer' by Summercamp. 'Alcohol' by Howling Maggie 'So Low' by Self. 'Bluster' by Salt. I also remember the bands Kula Shaker and Four Squirrels. You remember any of those ?

I totally remember Self, although I remember that song Cannon and not So Low. Kula Shaker was a band I totally remember now, thanks for the heads up, some good stuff. The others I don't remember though. I remember the name Summercamp, but don't remember their songs.

Here's another, Wax "California"

Hah, yeah, I know. But hell... I've seen people identify more obscure crap on here so I figured it was worth a shot.

Now that I think about it is was a person's name, but I don't think it was actually the name of a member of the band.

So Low was a very memorbale song it had the chorus " I'm so low that I wish I was dead with a knife through my chest and a bullet in my head" "I'm so low that I wish I was dead must I go on" " Just give me time to miss you" Just give me time to miss you"

The song Drawer by Summercamp had the chorus " I'm just a Drawer" They were on Madonnas Maverick records label.
