If Spurs finish above 8th place I'll be impressed. I think last year was well last year.

Technically, the mod who made the bet isn't the mod anymore (Toon3).

Therein lies the problem. This is becoming the assnal-lite forum.

You'll start threads about Seinfeld soon enough. My original post was meant in a jokular fashion and spawned a very anal retentive and limp editorial.

Shame really.

I'm sure you'll all be devasted to learn that this is my last visit to the barcode board. No no, don't try and stop me. I can take a hint.

Oh please, Graeme edited posts in order to make them pro-Newcastle all the time. Nothing's changed.

You couldn't take a hint when I tried to get you to my hotel room that time. I spent 3 hours up there waiting for you :(

What an inspiring performance against Manchester City.

Van Basten's Milan?
Maradona's Napoli?
Di Stefano's Real Madrid?

No, no. Bramble's Newcastle, baby.

Regrettably I'd love to give you Spurs appreciation for that one, but had you called it Onyewu's Newcastle I'd have given you props.

Bumble McShambles didn't play, or even make the bench so I'm sorry, better luck next time...

Spurs fans to face Seville court after clashes

MADRID, April 6 (Reuters) - Tottenham Hotspur supporters were to blame for clashes with police during their team's UEFA Cup game at Sevilla and seven Spurs fans will appear in court, a Spanish official in Seville said on Friday.

A number of Spurs fans were injured in the trouble that broke out in the first half of Thursday's quarter-final first leg at the Sanchez Pizjuan stadium, while television pictures showed seats and missiles being thrown at police.

Faustino Valdes, the Madrid government's representative in Seville, said: 'We have two police...who have suffered some serious blows and we also have arrested some (seven) Tottenham fans who should be now appearing in court.'

Is it me or do English fans get picked on in Europe?
