Would take him like a shot, not had too much to do this season but hes a class act, out of the potential outs id say theres only 3-4 (max) players i can see staying

I heard that Arca may have a relegation release clause in his contract, not sure how much it's for though.

Yer that would be the only way we could get him, same with Zuma hes apparently got a release clause for 1.5mil which if we push for it would put us in a battle with the likes of middlesbrough and birmingham for his sig.
One player i hope the rumours were true about a few months back is Kallstrom, id like a few younger faces to arrive if were going to see some cash flashed, Maybe theres another Gardner out there or maby im askin lightning to strike twice.

Right, happens every year, what do you think to this being the season Gudjohnson comes back to bolton? he got played less this season with less effect and seems to have fallen out of favour, the season before last he pick up a bit of form when genuin interest was shown in him, Chelsea have a habbit of letting quality players walk out for next to nothing and Gudjohnson is one of the most loyal and proffesional players about, i think hes gonna leave in the summer and i think he'd pick us over the rest, hes exactly what we need and hes the kind of player who would take a pay cut to play again.
What daya think? Get down and pray or go get my shirt printed

dunno anything about Modupe-Ojo, he's been round the amateur circuit a bit and at 20/21 seems to be a bit old to suddenly break into professional football.
As for Eidur well we'd all love to see him back at the 'bok and he's out of contract either this year or next but I wouldn't hold your breath.

It didn't used to be but it is now.
Gone are the days when a 25 year old John McGinlay could turn pro.

Couple of bits of paper talk from the BBC website:
Bolton boss Sam Allardyce is tracking Espanyol defender Alberto Lopo with a view to a summer move. (Independent)
Bolton are swooping for 14-year-old Oldham talent Grant Spencer.(People)
Your guess is as good as mine as to the accuracy of the reports but they both seem resasonable hopefull with relatively young targets (25 and 14)

Theres a lot of rumours going arround at the moment, but the one that really is odd is that we've put a 7 million pound bid in for andy johnson, which would be great but i have the suspision that if its true gardside might have tried to keep alladyce at the club by handing him a fake cheque book and a fist full of disney dollars. Still could always go to the chelsea discount store with that sort of money and get yourself a wright-phillips or gudjohnson for that money, andy johnson would do for me mind.

Crystal Palace are expected to grant Bolton permission to speak to striker Andrew Johnson next week, with a £7m price tag agreed. (The Times)
So it's true

It's a load of crap. Why would we want AJ, a player who's only scored 15 goals in the CCC this season and only scored 9 from open play when he was in the Prem? Akinbiyi has scored more than Johnson this season! Bolton Wanderers spend £7 million on one player? ROFLMFAO!
No, I don't want him at the club and I don't want to ever see us spend that much money on one player unless we're in the Champs League.

Heh i though the price tag was the ridiculous bit in that we would have spent it on a couple of good players instead of one (if we actually had 7mil to spend that is). However like the man said its thought today that the offers been excepted (although newspapers talk a load of balls most the time), i can only hope that its speculation on at least the high price tag. however shall find out in a week, i think he woud be a good buy to be honest but we can afford to spend that much.
