Your former GM, Peter Wilt, is working with a group that is trying to bring an MLS team to Milwaukee. Do you think the league could succeed in your home state? And if such a team existed, would you want to play there?

Jesse Marsch
I think that, first of all, if there's somebody who's going to start an MLS franchise in Milwaukee, then Peter Wilt is the man for the job. We worked for him in Chicago, and he was a great boss. He's a great guy to work for. I think he's building something there that has a future. He's got some good investors there for the project. He's meeting some difficulties in the community, but if I know Peter well enough, I know he'll do it. He's really found a way to connect with the community in Milwaukee. I think that it's important for cities like Milwaukee to have an MLS franchise. It's not as easy for a franchise to succeed in bigger cities that have so many sports options. Maybe we can introduce an MLS team that will have a big fan base because people want something to grab on to.

If anybody can get it done, it's Peter Wilt. He has an eye for these things and he gets the right people involved. I really think it's going to happen with the next couple of years.
