Is it me or do Ljungbergs V1.06's have tongues on them with elastic going around under the boot?

Looks like the v1.06 (worst name ever) with and exec tongue and elastic. He's one of their main players I'm sure he can ask for whatever he wants.

To cover the knot so there is a better striking area?
To cover the knot so it will stay tied?
To confuse you?

I know. that tongue probably adds another ounce to the boot. sheesh. I don't understand how he can run fast enough to keep up :D

Maybe, since he's only scored once this season, he's trying something different with his boots.
Man, he was so much better with Nike.

Wow, you really think that a shoe brand makes a player any better?

See, this is the difficulty with the internet. Sarcasm is not as obvious as in a face to face conversation.

...but seriously guys, if there's one thing we must blindly learn from marketing, it's that the boots make the player....

I see his point on doing that, I also wear v1's and when i strike the ball with the part he put the tongue in, the ball tends to go higher than normal, I'm having some trouble because of that lately, so I switched to my F50+ , but now that i saw he put a tongue to manage that problem, probably I'll do it to !

Lol i know of places, I sent my f50+ to fix the tongue issue so that they are fully flat, and now they're perfect ! i'll post a pic of them to see how they look now, they fix all kinds of shoes, and this wont be an exeption ! lol

In the champions league game against real madrid i think roberto carlos got ljungberg's shoe off and then he just slid it back on and put that elastic thingn around.
