Who is better than Ballack in his generation of German players?

and thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat is the problem. in Ballacks generation is no worldclass midfielder. it is the most baldy german player generation of all time.

BUT.. this is the Youthnationalteam Thread and Ballack has here nothing to do with. :) :) :)

Let's leave Ballack out of this shall we? There is enough trashing of him on the Bayern boards.

About Kroos, I think he should be given a chance at club level, just look at Sahin of Fabregas, that has worked out really well.

what you say it BIGSHIT !!

its crazy that mofo, Duncan and snoooop all are germans and all say Ballack is overhyped.. come on..

these are facts, i can show you 15-20 or many more Boards where 8 from 10 people say he is overhyped, accept it.

it is NOT the User snoooop or mofo who say that, it is whole germany.
you great you love him and maybe you have wet dreams about him, but Ballack is NOT worldclass.

at Bayern annual general meeting of the year, where Rummenigge offcial said that there is no offer for Ballack anymore, the Bayern-Members was applauding, was jumping around.
The Bayernfans are so most friendly people to him, you should see and read what Fans from other Clubs say about him, but that would be to hard for you

there was millions of votins about ballack, all of them was negativ that he is worldclass. he is the most overrated and invislbe palyer who ever played for Bayern

accept it,

THE FANS WICH LIVE IN MUNICH OR IN GERMANY, THE FANS WHO ARE IN THE STADIUM AND SEE HIM LIVE CAN RATE HIM BETTER AS AN GUY FROM HK(hongkong?) who watch 3 Bayerngames a year over an internetstream
come on man.. ive seen that Schmierlappen often live in stadium and he sucks a lot
HE IS JUST THAT HYPED BECAUSE THERE IS NO REAL WORLDCLASS GERMAN MIDFIELDER, WOULD THIS BE THE YEAR 1994 HE WOULD JUST ONE OF THE MIDFIELDER.

TURN OUT YOUR PLAYSTATION, YOU MUST BE ONE OF THOSE GUYS WHO WEAR BALLACK SHIRTS AND SLEEP WITH IT AND STUFF LIKE THAT LOL

1. I have been watching Bayern as many games in a season thru whatever means as I could gain access to and that no. of matches that I watched with Bayern as the main featured team is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over the no. you quoted.

2. There is no other midfielder at the moment in his generation that is better qualified than Ballack in the NT, NOW. True or not?

3. If there are better players than Ballack, he won't even be rated. So where is the over-rating coming from?

4. If you are a mature and reasonable person, argue with me in senses. I would not put up with your wet dreams, computer freaks and stuff like that dude! IS THAT CLEAR?

3. If there are better players than Ballack, he won't even be rated. So where is the over-rating coming from?

ok, Lampard is worldclass, Ronaldinho is Worldclass, but Ballack is far away from those two.
in 2002 he was on Lampards Level but not today and not this season.

Well I hope you can still helpme out with the background in the topic of the most talented young players for germany, rigt now (including Podolski and Schwensteiger)

I have tried to follow the U21,U19,and U17 Germany squads. Who do you think are thebest 10 young talents to follow in the next 4-6 years?,people like Odonkor,K.Boateng,Kiessling,Tony Kroos,Fischer,Fathi or the rest.

10 Young Germany talents. This is just to speculate about the future in German football, the next generation of players that some of them will appear in WC 2010 and many in WC 2014.To see if the future seems brighter and to see if the DFB has taken care of raising new talent like in the old days.

;)

It is, of course, difficult to say who will continue to blossom and become a star, and who will never reach the next level so to speak.

I haven't seen Fischer or Kroos play, so I can't comment on them (however, from what many observers have said, their futures' look very bright). From the others you have listed, I would put Kevin-Prince Boateng at the top of the list. At 19, he's already established himself as a regular for Hertha, and is a very skilled player. He scored an amazing goal this summer for the U19s against Greece, where he took a shot from the center line that dipped and went in. His U19 teammate Eugen Polanski of Moenchengladbach is another very promising talent (as is, of course Marcell Jansen).

Kiessling had a good 1st half of the year, and looks to be a great scoring talent. It will be interesting to see how he develops at Leverkusen next year. Malik Fathi has had a very solid year at Hertha, who I would like to see him given a try at LB for the NT after the World Cup (Lahm could go on the right, and Jansen should be playing LM or LF like he does with 'gladbach). Odonkor's shown improvement this season, but outside his blazing speed, he's somewhat limited (his crossing ability isn't up to snuff for example). Another player to watch out for is Leverkusen's Gonzalo Castro, who's had some impressive games this year for Bayer. He recently switched to the German youth system from Spain's.

Some future prospects who look to be very talented but haven't figured much, if at all for their senior teams include Alexander Baumjohann (Schalke), Sebastian Tyrala (BVB), Aaron Hunt (Werder), and Jerome Boateng (Hertha, K-P Boateng's brother).

But again, its impossible to see what will happen with these players in the upcoming years. Will they develop into big stars, or will they go the route of Ricken, Timm and Rau?

a little bit about the U-17

Player nr. 4 from the left side is Toni Kroos.
the Player with the Nr.9 on the shirt is Manuel Fischer and you can see that his hairs on the right side cutted normal :p

Three days after their spectacular 4-0 win against Serbia and Montenegro, Germany return to Luxembourg's national Josy Barthel stadium, scene of that triumph, to face Russia in the UEFA European Under-17 Championship semi-finals.

Stubborn Russia
Germany had the best records in the qualifying and Elite rounds, so it was no surprise they performed so well in the group stage here in Luxembourg, with a 4-0 victory not only on Monday but in their opener against Belgium as well, and they also dominated the goalless draw with the Czech Republic. Russia, though, showed their stubborn side on Matchday 1 against talented Hungary, withstanding a first-half barrage to win with a late Sergey Morozov header.

Talented Germany
But Germany coach Bernd Stöber is able to call on a talented lineup, whose attacking 4-3-3 formation displayed its full strength against Serbia and Montenegro. Manuel Fischer took the joint lead in the scoring charts with a hat-trick that raised his finals tally to four, while the defence and goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler form the only back line yet to be breached in Luxembourg.

Bullish coach
Stöber has been probably the most confident of the eight coaches who started this event last week, and his team's performances have hardly dented his bullishness. "I will not try to keep their feet on the ground," he said. "We are playing so well, it is best it stays that way."

Bumpy road
Russia have had a bumpier road to the last four, the best run for their nation in either the U16 or U17 Championships since the collapse of the Soviet Union. After the dramatic success against Hungary, they were swept away 3-0 by Group A favourites Spain. But they knew that if Spain defeated Hungary, a point against hosts Luxembourg would take them through. And in the event Russia won 2-0, with Hungary losing by the same score.

'Primary goal'
"By getting to the semi-finals, our primary goal is achieved," Russia coach Igor Kolyvanov said. "Now we will try to do even better. However, I have to stress that the best teams are definitely Spain and of course Germany. Normally these two sides would compete for first place. But we will do our best."

Birthday absentee
No players are suspended for this match, although Russia defender Anton Vlasov has been ruled out for the tournament with a hamstring injury suffered against Spain and will celebrate his 17th birthday by cheering on his team-mates. However, while Germany have only Marko Marin and Mario Vrancic sitting on yellow cards, Russia's Roman Amirkhanov, Semen Fomin, Amir Kashiev, Evgeni Korotaev, Pavel Mochalin, Aleksandr Sapeta and Denis Scherbak are all one booking away from missing the final or third-place play-off on Sunday

There is much for everyone to learn at the UEFA European Under-17 Championship, including for coaches. Smoothing that process are two experienced trainers, Hungary's Dr György Mezey and Wim Koevermans of the Netherlands, who are acting as technical observers to help prepare the UEFA Technical Report.

Two to watch
"We go into the teams, look at how they play, how the tournament goes," Koevermans told uefa.com. "This is done for any tournament, even the UEFA Champions League. We watch both groups, do diagrams of their formations, highlight the better players." And unsurprisingly, he picks out the two group winners as the ones to watch ahead of Thursday's semi-finals. "Spain have shown they are the strongest team in the tournament with Germany, with good individual players. It is the final everybody wants to see. They want the ball, they want to put pressure on their opponents. And they are nice to watch."

Clinical Germans
Spanish duo Bojan Krkić and Aarón Ńíguez have especially impressed Koevermans, who also saw Germany pip a Netherlands side he helps coach to the finals. "The biggest difference is goalscoring ability," Koevermans said. "They have a very well-balanced team, strong defenders who like to come up, not just the full-backs but the central defenders, which you do not see too often any more. In midfield the Bender twins attack but fight back for the ball and Toni Kroos is more of a playmaker. Up front [Marko] Marin is good at holding the ball and dribbling, and [Manuel] Fischer is a real striker, he is really good in the box or running off the ball. Even their substitutes are of a high standard."

Well, the 2 favorites in the U17 are out.....

Russia defeated the Germans 1-0, while the Spaniards were beaten 2-0 by the Czechs.

From the match summary (again, I didn't watch the game), the Germans dominated the game, but Russian keeper Evgeni Pomazan was spectacular.

Yes, Germany was clearly better, but too stupid to score.

The 2 hot favourites of the tournament end up playing in a match for the 3rd place. It's quite a disappoinment for Germany after such a fine running in the event. In the last 10-15 years of the same competition, I think this is the third or fourth time that the team plays in a match to decide for tthe 3rd place.
