well it seems the germany girls u17 side has been in auckland the last few days...it's a shame I had no Idea until today or else I might have gone to watch them. Today's the last game but only in 3 hours so I don't think I can make it.

Too bad...you could have gotten one of the girls pregnant while showing them the sites and have your dream come true...have a little German on your hands so that you can train hin to be the futur of the German nt.

They didn't call him up. But he didn't ever win any of the DFB prizes for the three best young players of each year group (Fritz Walter medal) either. :rolleyes:

To be honest, with Sammer at the top I don't think the DFB's youth development is half as good as they say.

I thought Leinad's comment earlier in this thread was interesting; I always found it intuitively hard to believe that Eilts might be a good coach. Seems like other people feel he isn't.
