Looks like a great goal from Schulz, good recovery after erroneus efforts in his match in FCN.

Here are some interviews and the goals:
http://rapidshare.de/files/16089670/u21.avi.html
(sorry for the average quality)
Schulz said it was his mistake at the 0-1,
he underestimated the pace of the no.9 of Armenia
and that he´s happy to score with the right foot.
Eilts analysed, that his players first wanted to win
the match only with their technic.
After the against goal they fight and made tacklings
and got control about the match this way.
He´s happy with the match.
Former national player Andreas Möller (one of the commentatories)
analysed, that the freekicks could be improved.
Eilts answered, they will improve it,
(althought the 3-1 by Fathi was scored after a kreekick)
but to train it at the U21 wasn´t easy, because he had only 2 days
to prepare the players for the match,
but promised, that freekicks and corners will be trained at the preparation
for the EC, where the team wants to win the title.

Thanks Eilts.
Does anyone know what is Andreas Moeller doing now ( I think he moonlights as a commentator?!)?

He became involved at Fußball D21 (http://www.fussballd21.de/1000.asp),
this is an organisation, which wants to improve youth football.
Many former and actual players participate there,
Klinsmann, Balakov, Löw, Eilts, Kohler, Bode, Metzelder,
Kuntz, Baumann, Kehl, Lahmann ...
As far as i understand it, they want to motivate more children
to play football and to improve the training methods at youth teams.
They also do some football camps.
On the website there many former professional give tips for young players
and many more.
Interesting, never heard of it before.

Do you think in the coming ties Fabian Schoenheim of FCK will get a call. He's been really good for Lautern lately and I think should be someone that Mr. Eilts should call upon.
Opinions?

With a name like Fischer how can you be anything else than a great goal-scorer?

Eilts is said to have his EC squad settled already, not including Schoenheim. I guess he surfaced to late and will loose out eventually.
btw: Anyone got a link to the U17 squad list ? And are those the guys who whiffed last year's U17 WC in Peru, loosing the qualification spot to the DUTCH ?

Not exactly the same guys, because the players get older and older. ;)

In the last matches he didn´t convince so much,
but definitely a player to keep in mind.
An option for the defense could also be Heiko Westermann,
the guy plays a class season for Bielefeld.

Yea I had to curse him. ALthough TBH, he did bad against Hertha ;)
But yes there are good youngsters out there.
