It was an entertaining game.

The win was a bit lucky in the end but the Russians have to blame themselves for the slow start.

I think the german team was overconfident after the two early goals, they can play much better.

FT 1:1

Germany should have won this game, France equalized with ten men.

It's going to be tough against Serbia, one point will do it though.

Yeah, i was angry when i saw france equalized with ten men. But still im quite pleased with the result, thinking that france would overrun us after what they did to Serbia, but i think too we should have deserved to win.

Oh man.

I'm really angry, our team seems to be stronger than the french team, but we simply didn't continue to play in the second half, like against Russia.

What were they doing at HT, they came out, like they were sleeping...

We should be able to get a point against serbia though, we would probably win, if the game would only last 45 mins.

Somehow German youth teams always find a way to ******** up (just like Hertha in Europe ;) ).
That's why I'm not that optimistic about the Serbia game. The smashed Russia pretty good today.

Germany 3:2 Serbia FT

Incredible finish.

It was all tied at 1-1 when germany took the leade through an amazing solo run by Tyrala, he dribbled the entire Serbian defense and set up Kruse. Seemed like they were going to finish and top the groupw.

Then in the last minute a header back to the keeper went right over Mannel and into the back of the net. Own goal seemed to spoil the afternoon.

Out of nowhere then in the the last seconds of the game, Sam took the ball and scored and incredible long distance goal into the top right to give Germany the win.

Greece is next and then hopefully a rematch against France in the final.

Wow that game was incredible. I had no idea our boys had such pace and technique i watched through a euro sport stream. The closing moments were unbelievable. We can be very proud of our team. Now lets hope we come through against Greece.

BTW: How does Greece play, are they a very strong team? I guess so because they are in the semis but compared to other teams?

Just watched the game. (I taped it)

Thank god I was wrong. (Sorry TOLH) :D

Tyrala looks special but I still don't really know what would be the best position for him.
He clearly is not a forward, he wasted like 10 glorious chances in two games. But he's probably the best dribbler we have.

The last three minutes were crazy, loved it. All goals were beautiful, even the own-goal. ;)

Semi-final against Greece, 26 minutes played - another beautiful goal.

Tyrala tries to dribble to the goal again but fails, crosses to Ben-Hatira on the left who holds the ball perfectly, beats a defender and puts it in with the right food.

Beautiful goal. Some players with awesome technical abilities in this team. Ben-Hatira sure looks special this EC, I'm sure some top clubs are already thinking about him.
Hamburg is lucky that he just recently resigned.

1:0

Boateng gets his 2nd yellow and is suspended for a possible final.

First chance for Greece - goal. That's efficient. Tyrala should take notes. ;)

1:1 after 41 minutes.

2:1 Greece (2nd chance)

The German U19 team lacks a good striker, they have a real good midfield and average defense but the forwards are rather poor.

This sucks. They won and with 10 men. When are they gonna learn the same happened against France. And i agree with you Fräulein we are playing like portugal plenty of chances but all wasted. Well at least we have some nice prospects for the future.

Final 3:2 Greece.

Germany died in beauty. (German saying)
They played like Holland, lol.

Still, this was a good tournament. You need an equally good team to win and apart from the midfield they were rather average.

awww man...I was really hoping for them to get to the final and play France again.

There are a lot of positives to take out of this tournament though, lots of potential from players like Tyrala but our defense needs work. There were too many times when they were too complacent.

I totally agree with you, but the problem doesnt lie in individual skill. I mean Eberlein and Höwedes were pretty good. Its always these concentration problems they get too relaxed and in the end they get stomped, it was like that in every match except vs Serbia.
