I have already bought the cheap total 90s for $60 dollers and i would like to say they are the biggest pieces of shit ever created:mad: . I have bought boots at big 5 for$20 dollers that were much better then this crap. its uncomfortable and i swear it has no flexibility at all. $60 dollers is not cheaping out but i wanted to know what are the best boots to buy without spending $180 dollers on some xj-ak47 air jordan soccer cleats. Some of us frugal guys dont want to cheap out if it is going to hurt our performers.;)

(by the way i have ankle protectors on both feet so i would also appriciate advice on wide boots as well. THANK YOU

The Adidas "Copa" series.

Professionals all over the world still wear them. The design hasn't changed much, and they are pretty reliable.

I say the same thing about boots/shoes as I do about tattoos. Good tattoos are not cheap, and cheap tattoos are not good. The same goes for boots. I firmly believe you get what you pay for. If you want a quality boot, you're going to have to fork out SOME money. Take the f30.6 for example. A STEAL at the $80 they retail for, and are just as comfy as the tunits IMO. Made of the same material. I also own the synthetic version of the x-boots (x-200) and they are AMAZING for a midline boot. I don't think you can expect to buy a boot for $40-$60 (full price, not at discount) and expect them to last as long as quality boots. My Umbros have taken a beating this past month, and they are in fantastic shape. Granted there are tons of people who have forked out $180 for vapors or pulses, and they've split within weeks so you never know. Just my 2 cents...

If you want to get the best boots, just wat a little bit until the Lotto Zhero Gravitys are up for sale, they're already using them... they have no laces, they weight 7.3 ounces, very well placed studs, some are even removable, very good kicking area, just look how they see in action , these ones are sg though.

if you only want to spend like $80 on cleats, that doesnt mean you cant get the best cleats. just buy cleats on sale. thats what i do. i bought the lotto vento concept (orig $220) for 75. and the adidas aveiro (orig 120) for 30. i bought lot of cleats more then 60% off. thats what you should do too. try looking at outlet stores.
