Chivas | Westerhof habla con Medio Tiempo al despedirse de México

Alexander Jiménez | MEDIOTIEMPO (corresponsal)
Guadalajara, Jalisco. 10 de Abril de 2006

* "En México, Chivas o nada. Soy chiva de corazón"
* Partió a Holanda definitivamente
* No llegó Vergara a la cita de despedida
* "Ningún equipo en el mundo tiene la popularidad de Chivas"

I always liked Westerhof and Vergara is lucky that Chepo is doing a great job.

The process of letting him go was an embarrassment, not unlike Galindo's firing. Westerhof is a class act and I wish him the best of luck.

Hans was very mature and down to earth guy , i liked watching him on Republica Deportiva one time, he kept stuttering and fumbling w/ his Spanish it was funny his team that went to the final w/ Pumas was the best chivas i'd seen in a while i wish his chivas usa time woulda' been better but o well ,

It's very sad the bastard Vergara cutt him loose the way he did noone deserves to get fired like that . he shoulda' stayed a lil' longer he definatly could be some other teams coach like Tecos. or Pumas or even Tigres

So Hans gets ********ed over by "El Zorro Mayor" Vergara; nothing new there. The list just keeps growing...

Is Westerhoff the father of the "filosofia Chiva" (attacking style of Chivas) or is it Vergara?

Vergara is just a business man, it's kind of sad to see Hans go like that even though I'm not a Chivas fan. I really liked the guy and he was a very mature and educated man. One of the few good foreing coaches.
