Not Hawkeye Pierce.
Sorry, but there are some on the west coast that have yet to see the episode. It was heartbreaking, and tense to the max in terms of who wins (then again, I avoided spoilers on this episode like the plague). Next week will be very, very, very hard to watch (Leo's funeral).
Anyone want to comment on it as this might be the first West Wing thread on here in a while.

I thought that it was pretty dramatic. I liked that Nevada was the final state to be decided. I would have thought that the mood would have been more somber at Democratic HQ the entire evening following the loss of Leo. I'm surprised that Vinick is apparently not going to challenge the results.

I'm surprised that Vinick is apparently not going to challenge the results. But that's been part of the whole campaign theme on the show - that this is the way an election COULD (and SHOULD) be run - fair play, no mudslinging, no legal challenges, etc. - just two men with different opinions of how to run things, neither of whom are necessarily right or wrong - just different.

Glad I was channel surfing. Glad i got to see this episode.
Next week's will be depressing. Supposedly, the cast said it was hard filming this particular episode.
I will watch it.

I was pleased they finally injected at least a small amount of affection into the Josh-Donna thing. The two of them have been in love with one another for years now and having them pork each other for a pit stop was just stupid.
