No -- unlike the oHTer game, training does not depend on appearance in a match to be effective.
It's probably hurting your form moreso, and your pocketbook less so.

My form seems to be fine. I've only lost 3 games so far this season.

Form for your untrained backups, I mean... your starting lineup will be just fine because they're playing regularly in the league matches.

next season fc games scare me, my players are gonna get tired and were gonna get owned i need a miracle.
