Yeah we are looking into it. We still need our shirt first and then the rest of the merchandise will be coming out.

I am actually a little surprised that they aren't selling scarves, yet. I guess they didn't have enough time to order them, or they figured people in Houston wouldn't need them. I've been using my free towel from GM1 as a substitute.

We'll get it out ASAP. Just as the front office has been rushed as a result of the late arrival to Houston and the name fiasco, so have we. The biggest difference is that the 5 officers all have real jobs they have to tend do and work for the SG in their spare time whereas the front office's job is to work for the team.

But I promise you we will get some made.

I've got a line on sports towels that are 11" x 44" - that we could print 2 color on white and sell for about $10.

Scarves will probably take longer, and they retail at about $20 each. Here's a great collection of what a cold weather team can do with a new scarf every year:

I might actually get one of those! It's not exactly "Dynamo" related, but the color is right and I was very impressed with the Ukrainian Orange Revolution! About the only thing that gets me more excited than sports has to be politics. :-D

We talked about doing scarves, but it's too hot now. I found some towels that are the size of scarves, and you can pre-order them on texianarmy.org/shop

... or just let me know, once I order them, I'll bring them out to the tailgates. I haven't had many suggestions for designs, but I did like the idea of the orange checkers on the white towel. Going to need something to wipe the sweat in August - so I guess I better design and order them soon!

I emailed the Dynamo office and this was their reply regarding scarves,

"Thanks for the e-mail. MLS handles the licensing for us and we have had
some discussions about scarves. The feedback that the local retailers
provide to MLS is that the climate down here would keep scarve sales
fairly low. We are still working with them on this but at this point I
cannot say for sure if scarves will be produced."

I hope they decide to make scarves though, I feel says may increase wiht the addition of scarves, but thats just my feeling.

Maybe tube tops would be better. Would give the women something else to wear to the games besides T-shirts, and when they took them off it would become a scarf!

ok, ive talked to some ppl, and we are in the making of our scarves..

orange, with black letters and black scarves with orange letters...

Or we could just go with the bikini idea we talked about yesterday and girls could wear those to the game instead. It's pretty hot this time of year. Watch some soccer, cheer your arse off AND get a tan. It works on so many levels!!
