What if Bayern only wins of the two titles left they can get. OR what if they dont get any of them at all. What do we do then? this is probably what some posters have been posting about.
We could get knocked out against St. Pauli this week, or lose in the final either way our title there would be gone. And Hamburg is doing extremely well and is almost within reach of us, if not they already are and could possibly sneak home the title.
SO then what? are the changes going to be a bit more drastic? or would the plans this summer basically be the same just that we have nothing to show for title wise from this season. I am not a jinx, this is all feasible. Anything is possible until it mathematically time says it can't.

I feel we will win both. We have equally as daunting a task for both. For the pokal if we lose we are out, but there are only two matches to play so we are almost there. The Bundesliga we have i believe 5 matches left and so do Hamburg. Both Bayern and Hamburg have about 2 matches a piece of the 5 that could give them a loss, so if one team drops one they shouldnt then that makes space for the other. So this will be interesting. Of the two left I think we could win the league a little easier because we have a 4 point lead, so its ours to lose, we have some space, but very minimal. The pokal, we must win each of the next two to win it.

Thats a scenario that I don't even want to think about ....theres nothing worse than being on top all season long and blowing it in the end. And it can certainly happen with our on and off form all season long.
I'm just wondering what the heck happened to "we'll be able to finally concentrate on the league now that we're out of the CL"

[knee jerk reaction] get rid of everybody!!![/knee jerk reaction]
:p
By the looks of the transfer money kitty, it looks like Bayern is already going to be making big changes regardless of how we end the season. Especially after what Uli said after the loss to Milan.
How many are possibly/probably going to be gone as well.
Lizarazu
Scholl
Zé Roberto
Michael Ballack
Jens Jeremies
and possibly a forward.
Also, say we win the league, but not the pokal..I, and I am sure Bayern as well, will consider it a fairly successful season.

I think player wise nothing will happen the same players will leave and come as if we had won both titles. The only drastic change if we loose both the league and pokal would be Magath gone. Honestly I don’t think or I would rather say I am convinced we wont loose any of this two remaining titles.

Our schedule / result of last match:goal scorer
Bielefield / win 2-1 : Piza double
Mainz (away) / win 2-1: Piza double
Stuttgart / draw 0-0
Kaiserslautern (a) / win 2-1: Ballack; Makaay (pen)
Dortmund / win 2-1: Karimi; Piza
Note that in the previous encounters, even though we were in reasonably good forms, the winning margin was just 1 goal.
Assuming the goal difference maintains to our advantage, we need at least 11 points to secure the title which will be determined on goal difference if Hamburg wins all of their matches.
So the combination will be 4 wins or 3 wins and 2 draws.
Hmm, the situation does not look easy at all.
Their schedule / last match against the same team:
Duisburg (a) / win 2-0
Leverkusen / win 1-0
Koln (a) / win 3-1
Berlin (a) / win 2-1
Bremen / draw 1-1
Based on their current top form, they could win all of their matches. They have Ailton who's on fire now.

Idk if you know this, or how long youve been following bayern but karimi is injured and the earliest he will be back is for Iran over the summer for the WC. also Pizza doesn't score many goals, he's a workhorse, i dont see him scoring the amount of goals he's scored this season in the final 5 matches.

So the difference between pissing and moaning about our team after every poor performance or loss (note: that doesn't include poor performance necessarily), and that of speculating about what changes will be made after Bayern potentially lose out on one, two, or both titles are different how again?!! (...sorry, bad thread-mate, bad!)
(But really...)
It all amounts to the same thing: Bayern (potentially) not winning.
Let's face it, we are not accustomed to Bayern defeats, lack of trophies, etc. I doesn't sit well with us fans. At least some on these boards flat-out admit to be glory-hunters. Fair enough. I myself like to pride myself in following a team that has a name for a brand of soccer they display... consistently. I feel Bayern are typically one of those sides. This is why it is easy for me to admire the style of another team, no matter how hated they may be by others or even myself... I simply enjoy the beautiful game. Whereas Bayern are not known for their flashy, creative play, I do very much respect the tactics they deploy. This may sometimes seem "robotic" as I mentioned in another post, and I understand that, but this is what concerns me...
...to me, it all has been a slow ball rolling towards the same point in time... the last match of the Bundesliga. I have not been impressed with how the team as a whole...whether that is managerial, player, personel, whatever... has performed week in, week out since the December break. Our defense has been suspect at times, our midfield has not produced enough to pick up for the lack of goals our attack force up top cannot seem to find. We cannot seem to hang onto leads or put teams away, and with regards to the league race, we build up a sizable lead only to start watching behind us as the competitors start taking 2-3 point leaps in the tables. It's like I am watching the Titanic sink "live", knowing full well the bastard hits rock bottom, but hoping that for the love of god it somehow stays afloat. It's just a feeling... perhaps rash, but I just don't see the "drive" in this side. Just a feeling I guess, and I hope I am terribly, terribly wrong.
On the flipside, HSV Hamburg have been truly impressive and have put all the pieces it seems of the puzzle nearly together to produce a potential Bundesliga champion team. At worst, they will likely get a spot in Europe, which they fully deserve, and would be a shame if it didn't happen. Also, I must admit to be a bit shocked at the strength Weder Bremen showed in the CLS against the likes of Juventus. They are a nice side, especially on paper, and clearly when they have their heads about them, they are very much a force to reckon with.
I apologize to those who just read all this, as I now am wondering what it was all for... more  than ever!!

eiss, i dont hate you. its just some people are getting frustrated with the club so i think this thread lets anyone imaginate as much as they want all because of what if for right now. I myself am frustrated, but i figured this would be a better place for some of the things. i dont want to get rid of magath, id like to see the new transfers we get, who i dont really care as long as one is Poldi, and another is Sneijder. I would be content with Poldi tho, we also need another CB for competition for the spots. I'd like to see an open tryout between Rensing and Kahn as well going into the next season. And i think we will be better without Ballack because of what he does to our team as a whole off or on the field. on the field he plays more as a striker leaving the void in the field for defense and causes the wingbacks to come up leaving our flanks vulnerable for counters. i dont want drastic changes, i just think that this season could be unsuccessful because we could still lose both trophies. i think we will get them both tho, but there is still the possibility

You've missed my points.
I know Karimi is injured. I believe on a fairly good day we could win with the strength of our midfield even though he is sidelined. Whether Piza or anyone in the frontline is up to his task in the remaining matches, let them prove themselves in the coming matches. I don't want to speculate here.

well if we score of course we will score with our midfield or strikers. cuz its not likely our backs will score, and even less likely for our keeper to. you posted in bold who will be goal scorer, then claiming that means a midfielder or striker will score, well duh. i just can't see karimi scoring this season since sidelined by injury and pizarro scoring as much as he scored all season in 5 matches. youre soo confusing
