I was walking out of the game when I noticed these two white trashy looking guys on wiferbeaters standing by the Texian Army section toward Section 214. (Not be confused with the strange but inofensive Bayou City BootClub standing by section 212)
Anyway these two gentlemen were yelling "God Bless America" to every single Hispanic lookig person that passed by, myself included.
Mow there is nothing wrong to be proud of your heritage. (I am a Puerto Rican aka American Citizen). What bothers me is the intention of these two guys and the stage they chose. (close to the Texian Army Section)
I do not want the Texian army to be associated by these type of characters. For God sakes this is the WORLD's Sport.
If they are upset about the name change (like I am). They should not blame La Raza. We do need their attendance on the games.
If you look around on the games. The attendance is very diverse. In the section where I sat (109), there was an Indian Family, next to some British people, next to some Mexican Guys, in front of a white family, Right next to my wife and I.

My point: If any of you know these guys please tell them that we do not need any race riot started on our DYNAMO's games.

Ohh
That goal from Chang was not an offside.
Life sucks!!!

Tell them to go home! We don't need those guys there. The diversity of the crowd has been very refreshing to me.

I take it, in a sense, as a recognition of how diverse 213 already is. We had a lot of Hispanic fans above us in 213 and filling in on the other side of the color bar. And there were a ton of brown faces in 212 above the Bootclub Boys standing w/us and joining in "ole ole" etc. In fact, we now have a new Spanish cussing the ref cheer, "hijo de [rhymes w/fruta]," to go along w/"culero."

I don't think anyone would mistake idiots like that for the TA. In just two wks, I would say we are clearly attracting fans of all colors. Hell, what about that guy in the Japan shirt standing next to me tonight?

They are the Real Salt Lake Hooligans, a dangerous racist firm lead by Caterinca, a notorious hooligan. They travel all over, looking for fights. They were also at the DC -RBNY game last week, and they attacked the RB fans in the parking lot.

i agree with zolafan
today there was a lot of diversity in the band
we were a lot of hispanics there
and i also saw a guy and a girl with a japan jersey

by the way, i was the one who started that HIJO DE ******** against the ref
i have been working in some other chants that I hope soon we can sing them.

i was with the holland shirt and scarf
with my face painted :D

Remember boys there are more if us than them. We can run those bastards right out of the stadium if we wanted to. Lets not let those crappy racists pigs ruin our super diverse army that (I think) can be the best in America!!!

If you see stuff like that contact security and ask them to take the appropriate steps.

Whatever you do, don't take matters into your own hands - that's what a lot of those people are hoping someone will do. The net result would be a mess that would get into the media and discourage casual fans or families from coming out to the stadium.

A couple of the TA officers have cell phones of Dynamo FO personnel. If necessary, ask one of them to call one of the FO people they know and get this sort of crap shut down.

They are deffo looking for a fight. I think that if we all were to confront them the fight would go right out of them. But I understand your call for a peaceful resolution. We dont need a brawl or give someone else a reason to jump in and defend those idiots. We had plenty of security around us last night with several officers. We should just let the police taser the punks:D

The team, the TA, and fans in general are getting a lot of coverage. But the flip side is that if there's a confrontation in the stadium among "fans" (even if we know full well that those guys aren't really fans at all), then that'll also get in the media, get blown out of proportion, and casual fans and people who don't want to take their kids to what they perceive as confrontational environments won't come out to the stadium.

When you have stadium security, law enforcement, and the team FO all on your side, then it's a lot better to just use those resources. This is one of those rare times that The Man is actually on the right side. ;)

Any source/further info on this? I work with a group called Anti-Racist Action that could be a big thorn in these asshole's sides...

I agree that inside of the stadium is no place for a physical confrontation, so as not to drag the sport and the team's reputations through the mud. But if they ever try to stand with the bootboys they'll know very fast just how unwelcome they are...

Pula is a sock, as is caterinca. They aren't real. Ignore anything they say.

Is it a coincidence that the people fighting at the DC game and the thugs at the Dynamo game were both wearing wifebeaters? Seems to me there might be a connection.

. . . (Not be confused with the strange but inofensive Bayou City BootClub standing by section 212). . .By the way, props to the Bayou City Boot Boys - you guys are loud and awesome! I didn't see the two "gentlemen" to whom santeroatomico was referring, and they sound an unlikeable pair. But you guys are definately strange, and it is quite refreshing! :D

What was that part of the chant that you wanted us to take part in in the second half? It sounded intriguing...

Yeah well next time we can welcome them to Texas.

I didn't see these guys either.

Eh well, maybe it was a one time thing. As Anderson says, if you see them next time, just inform someone (you can tell me if you don't want to do it) and we'll get the police to take proper action. Don't start a fight, especially if you are wearing Texian Army shirts or standing in our section.

Thanks Guys.
I hope the guys of the Bayou City BootClub did not take ofense to my comment about being inofensive. I meant it on a good way. I talkes to one of you guys after the game.

If I ever see them again I will make sure to make someone know.

I want to ask though. What is up with Skinheads and suspenders?

The Bayou City Boot boys are a great group of guys that bring a great voice to Robertson. I think I did see some of them at both Flogging Molly and at the Dropkick Murphy's concerts. I am not kidding about that either. Keep up the noise boys!

Oui! Oui! Oui!

It's just part of our style of dress, like punks with spiky belts or vatos only buttoning their top button. No deeper meaning than that. But we usually call our suspenders "braces" 'cause that's what they're called in England, where the subculture originated.
