Just wondered if they were making any noises in the U.S yet?
I know the UK market is a lot easier to make an impact for Indie bands but these guys are really causing quite a stir over here. They have even managed to get themselves a pretty good slot at the Reading festival this summer having only released one single.

I've heard of them, but that is the extent of it. Its a supergroup, so its bound to get attention before putting out anything.

Is this Jack White's side project? If so, that would explain their spot at Reading. What type of tunes do they play? Are they worth the listen?

They're playing Lollapalooza this summer.

It's Jack White & Brendan Benson. Check out 'steady as she goes' which is their next single. Their album is released next month.
If you are interested in hearing another supergroup have a listen to 'The Chavs' - Carl Barat (the Libertines), Tim Burgess (The Charlatans), Martin Duffy (Primal Scream) & Andy Burrows (Razorlight)

"Steady as She Goes" is being played by two radio stations that I listen to, and has for the last month or so. The album is going to be released here in May, I think.
Coincidentally, they just played a show in NYC, a review was in today's paper.

It's all the rage here in the city...as for me? I'll pass...doesn't really appeal to me.
