View Full Version : Pokal Semifinal: FC St. Pauli vs FC Bayern [R]

Midweek rumble vs the cult heroes. St Pauli has been great in the pokal taking out some of the big clubs of the land. I myself like their story as well and wish this could of been the final. But either way St. Pauli tho small has been playing David quite well taking out the goliaths one by one. It should be an interesting match. We havent been playing well vs the lesser teams of late and have been getting pummeled from time to time doesn't help out either. We thought this would be a good statement game vs Bremen,and it was, but the statement wasn't in our favor. So lets see how the boys do this wednesday.

The last match that I saw in the Olympiastadion was between FC Bayern and St. Pauli. The St. Pauli fans were really entertaining. On the Ubahn they and the Bayern fans were dueling with chants and during the match Pauli's 1000 or so fans were almost as loud as the rest of the stadium combined. It was an awesome experience.
I hope Pauli has a good performance; as long as FCB still wins of course ;)

And to think we would be playing Bremen had St. Pauli not eliminated them..
YIKES!
COME ON BAYERN!!!!!!!!!! A place in the pokal final would boost our confidence and get the players ready for Bielefeld next weekend.

The Club St-Pauli and their Fans are unique in the whole world.
You will find nowhere more identification and Clublove as in St-Pauli, they have at the most Homegames 20.000 people in the Stadium..and they play in the 3rd League ;) and thats not all, when you visit the stadium on a gameday, you will know what i mean.
St.Pauli is the part of Hamburg where..you know..the Porno-Mile, where you can buy some girls n stuff, you know what i mean?? its also called "Kiez".

For me, it's actually strange that other languages don't do this, as it makes perfect sense to me :D.

Yeah, my senses of learning German are far from perfect! I believe German language is not the most difficult but surely not the easiest.
Any learning tips would be appreciated?:)
