Is there a list of Irish-descended players who have played for England out there? If someone could give me a link it would be appreciated.

Do you mean people who were born in Ireland or whose parents were born in Ireland? If you go back far enough most of us have got Irish ancestors.

FWIW I can't think of any off the top of my head.

Oh, and anyone who says Wayne Rooney is going to get a slap.

Irish grandparents or parents.

Well one or two Irish grandparents hardly makes someone 'of Irish descent' ;) and if you go to great, great grand parents then there's a large portion of us who have at least one.

Is there any reason for wanting to know this? ;)
