Need help finding a match

I'm going to be spending a month and a half bar tending down in South Padre Island, Texas. I'll only be 30 miles from Mexico. I would love to attend a professional match of some sort. I don't care if it's not a 1st division match. I was wondering if any of you are familiar with the area and could point me in the right direction.

Monterrey has two first division teams, UANL (Tigres) and Monterrey (Rayados). The drive to Monterrey from SPI is about 200 miles and can be made in b/w 3 and 4 hrs, that's not taking into account any significant time spent at the border. Correcaminos is a Primera A team (second div) in Ciudad Victoria, it's about as far as Monterrey, maybe just a bit farther. Hope that helps.

Try to get to Monterrey to go to a Tigres or Rayados game. Both teams are playing good futbol this season and the fans are among the best in Mexico.
