Hitzlsperger should be dropped. So should Kuranyi and Huth. But I don't think that will happen.


Hitzlsperger may very well be dropped.....Huth certainly won't be. I'm sure he'll make the squad, he is one of Jurgen's favorites for some reason.

Kuranyi can go either way really but I feel his "experience" with the team in the past might just get him the nod, not that I approve.

Yea, but does Klinsi have much choice? If I had to pick between Woerns, Metzedler, Huth, Mertesacker et al, I would be appalled, too.

Kuranyi has always scored goals for die Nationalmannschaft. He may be completely useless for 89 minutes, but usually he's good at converting at least one chance. And thats all you really need...

you have be part of the team to be a victim. Benny Lauth has never played for Klinsmann.

well.. I will replace those players with
Asamoah and Kuranyi should be replaced by 2 of those players (Lauth, Hanke, Neuville, Kiessling)
Huth (any experienced center back like Worns, Nowotny or babbel.. ONLY one of them)
Ernst (any other German midfielder in the bundesliga is better than ERNST!!)
Owomoyeela should be replaced with Hinkel
Schneider should be replaced with Trochowski.. Borowski should start with the first 11 and Trochowski on the bench

Maybe Asamoah for Neuville, but Kuranyi should stay. See response above.

Woerns for Huth yes, but Fahrenhorst should get consideration, he played quite well against Bayern Munchen
Ernst (any other German midfielder in the bundesliga is better than ERNST!!)
Marco Engelhardt has a word for you!! :D Iono, Ernst is pretty versatile.

Owomoyela is not rated highly here, but I will defend him! He is more pacy now than Hinkel, and has had a good season in Bremen. Definitely a Defensive liability though. But either way, they won't be having too much time, Friedrich is not one of Klinsmann's pressing worries IMHO.

This I'm really not too sure about. I am split 50/50. I like both players. But I do agree that Borowski or Frings should start at RM.

Defensively, Fathi is much better and thats what this team needs, a good defender. I actually, like Jaison has said, want him to play up, maybe as backup for Schweinsteiger, or have Piggy play right and Jansen play left.

Yes, that´s right.

But Fathi also plays at the U21 EC,
two tournaments are too much for him IMHO.

Look at Schweinsteiger after he played the youth competition
and the EC in 2004, he was totally tired and
it took some time until he could reach BL standard again.
Magath had to put him into the reserve to give him match practice.
