Continuing their amazing series of broadcasting live shows, NPR will be broadcasting Neko Case & Martha Wainwright live at the 9:30 Club in DC on Sunday April 9. It should be one hell of a show...is there anybody out there (alive) who has the pipes of Neko Case?

Well, you are right about Neko, that's for sure...

On the otherhand, I'd rather get whacked in the nuts with a baseball bat than listen to Martha Wainwright in concert. She kills me, and not in a good way.

I was torn between going to Neko's show and the Art Brut show. The near instant sell out of Neko's show helped me decide. I'm taking the twins to the Art Brut show.

I was torn between going to Neko's show and the Art Brut show. The near instant sell out of Neko's show helped me decide. I'm taking the twins to the Art Brut show.
I was one of those people who jumped through every hoop the 930 Club made me to get Neko tickets.

Until I saw her live with the New Pornographers, I was convinced Neko's voice was the result of some studio trickery. Boy was I wrong.

So I just got back a little while ago from this show. Still pretty close to speechless.
