Looks like you won't be able to stick your hand in that honey pot no longer..

MFF has been alerted to various Copyright Violations with regards to The FA Premier League championships including, but not limited to, all moving images and other audio/video content.

MFF is thus banning ANY and ALL content which may possibly infringe on said Copyright, and will enforce this banning via deletion of threads, posts and content. Repeat violators will have their accounts deleted from the MFF Servers.

All old forums and content have been removed, and we will add Discussion forums in a systematic manner going forward. New Registrations are closed and will likely not be re-opened for medium term.

The strength of this community has always been in the dedication and loyalty shown by the members. We hope that everyone concerned will look upon this as an opportunity for the community to move forward and grow in new and interesting ways.

Please feel free post any and all questions in the MFF News and Suggestions forum.

Edit: In order to be clear, the above refers to all Matches, Highlights, Compilations etc, either via embedded video, hosted links (yousendit etc), torrents, emule or others.

Huge, huge kick in the teeth for the internet soccer community. I see enough current football as it is, but I got so many tremendous old games on FBTZ that it beggars belief..

Very sad day indeed. I have just decided to check out this site after spending countless hours at Maxxed.

NNOOOOO!!!!

If I can't find them on the other trackers, I'll have to trade in my internet for digital cable. Which is exactly what they want.

This is so weak.

It's simple. Go to denness tracker. Search fbtz and you get around 200 results. Maxxed Forum is just directing traffic by posting where to go.

Just go to either denness tracker, mininova and you will find a lot of current football torrents.

I'm curious how much revenue soccer match downloading is taking away from anyone? Maybe it is about people using it to avoid paying for cable and satellite? It always seemed to me it was more to allow people to get games or highlight shows by sharing from other countries when they weren't available to them in any other way....ie even if they pay for pretty much every soccer package available commercially in their country, a certain game or league is just not available period. That's not taking anyone's revenue if you couldn't pay for it even if willing.

www.soccer-media.com is still working. Most of MaXxed torrents came from this site anyway. The only down part is that it's in Chinese. But a good translator is all you need. The biggest thing I'll miss from MaXxed is the streaming schedules that were consistently listed on that site. Now I'm going to have to figure out the schedules on my own again.

Can't make heads or tails of the site. Can you suggest a good site translator? This has been one of the roughest Sundays in months in terms of my missing highlites. Kaka scores a hat trick, Rooney leads Man U past Arsenal and I can only read about it.

well thanks for those massive spoilers. you know most people who read this thread have to DL the games too, so they haven't seen them.

btw I got the Man U/Arse game from denness. I'll PM you a link if you want it.

ill try that one out. Maxxed was one of my favourite places on the net.

On a happier note, I heard that this lawsuit will be shot down, and that the sites will reappear. Also, if it does go through, by the time everything is banned, we will have a way of downloading that's not illegal. Technology advances too fast for the law system, and law will never be able to catch up.
