I'll go with Kolo Touré. Captained the Arsenal defense setting a new record in CL for number of games without conceding a goal. Completely shutting out Ronaldo, Ibra and Trez, forcing trade talks :o

Ronaldinho, has decided the ties for Barca, and has like 7 goals, remember he decided the tie against Chelsea and Benfica

also amazingly, Inzaghi, he has been Milans unsung hero and Sheva with 9 goals

I'd say Ronaldinho and Toure are both good shouts, especially Toure, having to adopt the leadership role in the centre of Arsenal's defence, leading a very inexperienced backline, it really is phenomonal. Gilberto has been playing awesome as well, he's a big part of those 8 clean sheets.

I agree with everyones comments...Arsenal Troure def with Cesc and Henry out there too...
Villareal easy call Juan Roman Riquelme and Juan Roman Riquelme he is the team
Milan didn't get the chance to see many of their games but i'll go with "El Pipo" Inzaghi as we call him here in Spain...
Barcelona Ronaldinho and Etoo def but get rdy to see Messi whose gonna have stuff to talk in these semis if hes healthy also messi in his chelsea game was outstanding...too bad he didn't get ot play any other games

Quick comment before C.L. I was hoping for the Final Four teams to be competitive and most of all to play "Joga Bonito" I'm glad that this happened because all four teams represent that so as a fan of the team or not it will be interesting, entertaining and fun to watch...! Let the best team win!

Henry, Toure...even Eboue have impressed me tremendously. Ronaldinho of course has to be in there although he hasn't been as good in the knock out phase as he had been in the group stage.

Sheva has been very consistent as well. I was sure Deisler was going to be the break out player in the beginning.....its a real shame ....:(

AC Milan:Pippo Inzaghi & Sheva
Arsenal:Henry, Toure, Lehmann, Eboue & Cesc
Barcelona:Ronaldinho & maybe Messi
Villareal:Arrubhana (mind the spelling)
Arsenal's may have a lot of names, not because i am being bias, it is beacuse i feel it is more of a team effort.

.

messi was very important for barcelona against Chelsea, and i think he was the key player for barca in that match because of del Horno's red card.

Villareal:Arrubhana (mind the spelling)

you must be kidding. Riquelme is the most important player for Villarreal, and noone will argue here.

no its because you know Arsenal better, Edmilson, Motta, Eto'o and larrson have come up very big but i cant say the same about Villareal because i dont know them as well as i know Barca

True. I watched Barca's highlights against Benfica, and Eto'o was the man. The assist plus the 2nd goal. Brilliant! I'm not sure why Barca plays him out wide though. Fabregas too has been crucial, splitting defenses with his runs, creating chances for Henry, otherwise scoring himself.

Cesc, he was class in the Real Madrid matches and the first leg of the Juve match. Thought he was a bit disappointing in the second leg but i think that was due to Arsenal's tactics.

Also: Henry, Messi, Ron, Toure, Riq, Eboue.

I think it's hard to underlook Eto'o here. The team has been doing well without Messi, but I think their finishing would be lacking without Eto'o. His goals and assists rate together are probably the best in the CL and his finishings have been very clinical.

He had that wonderful header at Stamford Bridge as well. Just the threat that he provides on the pitch alone adds to Barca's attack. Certainly he has been one of the best attackers in the CL so far.

I was going to say that in my previous post...

Might as well put the entire Arsenal team down, great spirit and team effort.

Actually Toure is a really good pick, particuarly considering some of the defenders next to him. Remember the absoloute 'mare he had against Bayern last season?

Riquelme without a doubt is the best player in the tournament, if you havent watched him, u are loosing the grip of the best creative midfielders in the decade! Ive never seen something like him!
