Did anybody foresee Klinsmann being such a head strong individual. I mean its one thing to have balls but its another to be too arogant for your own good and i think this is what he is.

Whatever doubts I had about Lehmann after seeing his performance in the first leg were dispelled yesterday. A world class penalty save though he was off his line when he saved it, and a good save of Franco's header in the first half.
World Class performance.

Yeah, he only stopped a penalty, saved a point blank shot with his legs.
Lehmann has done nothing.
Except not give up a goal in 920 minutes of Champions League football. Yep. Nothing at all.
The sheer hatred here is f#cking hilarious, isn't it man??? :D

kinda bizarre, to tell you the truth and I don't get it. Lehmann has had a much better year than Kahn...end of story. I love Ollie, but let's be honest, he has made quite a few errors lately and should not have even played a few games as he was playing injured. He was substituted for those games as well. Now, I think we can all appreciate that tenacity and fighting spirit, but it was foolish and I somewhat blame Felix for letting him start. maybe he wanted to give Ollie more chances to prove himself...who knows.
But heh, congrats to Lehmann.

i looked the most Arsenal CL Games this year and their was not many spectacular saves from him, this penalty wasnt that great, he was jumping in the right corner and to hold this shot then isnt really hard.
so his chance to save the penalty was 50/50

I think any keeper's chance to save any penalty is 50/50

really ? daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn i did not think people celebrated mediocrity. whatever you might call it : hatred or something else.we do not like lehmann here. he is not a bayern player and he will never be. and if he were ever to be, that is when i stop watching footy for good.
now if someone wants to praise lehmann, he or she may do it outside of this board. there is the arsenal board, the germany board etc. you just don't have to praise him here.
by the way i never ever saw him make a spectacular save and the penalty was badly hit and he just guessed right.
he was lucky. i did not see arsenal's CL campaign this season, i only saw the matches against villareal and juve.in both of the games he did not have to do shiit until the penalty. last night he only he only one other save and he did not mean to he was looking the opposite way and the ball hit him.
edit : i forgot to say fock lehmann so here it is fock lehmann.

You think people cheer him in germany, check out the arsenal board...they are ready to make him mayor, prime minister and the new queen of the england for crying out loud.
Its great! :D

Speak for yourself man...one thing is being a bayern player, another is being an outstanding germany keeper who had recently been made the #1 for our NT this summer who has also booked his team a place in the most prestigious club competition in the world.
Jens has had an awesome year for Arsenal, evne looking back to his FA Cup final last year, he has been phenomenal for Arsenal ever since he arrived. You only saw juve and villareal, so how can you base it on just two games which were pretty much defensive stalemates. Lehmann did make a few vital saves but it was also due to great defending.
How bout watching some EPL...come on dude, be a little objective here. He's German afterall. :)

he has been phenomenal since he arriver? hahahahaha. dude he got arsenal knocked out of the chapions league when they were the best team in europe. that season they won the epl without loosing. wasn't he the one who spilled a shot from faaaaaaaaaar out from makelele of all people.
it is not just one time. why do you think he got benched last year for about 11 games or so? may be because he was just too phenomenal for them to handle. hahahahahaa.
why do you think milan got rid of him? he sucked. did you see the games between dortmund and madrid in 2003? lehmann was great that is why they lost the got knocked out of the second group stage. the also would have won the uefa cup the year before if lehmann was not so great.
i only saw the juve and real game, well they played some really good teams in the group stage and lehmann had great games probably. i don't give a shit if he is german or not. in fact this a world cup i am not looking forward to. and who can blame me? when germany's goal is protected by huth and lehmann. it is going to be embarassing.
whatever you think of lehmann is your opinion, i myself hate him because he is a low life good for nothing scumbag. we just should not be talking about lehmann on this board because he does not belong here. go talk about him on the arsenal board or the germany board.

Ok..maybe not his entire career at Arsenal BUT you are singeling out the negatives only. There is a reason they went undefeated that entire season, sure it wasn't only Jens but he did contribute. Benching Lehmann and going with Almunia was one of Wenger's greatest mistakes as he had to find out first hand. You make it seem as though every bad performance his team had was due to him, and you can't simplify things like that in football all the time.
Plus, this year alone proves what he's worth. And if Wenger had to wait a while to get him in this form, so be it, because its paying off big time.
And I know these are the Bayern boards but its also a thread about Lehmann :D
