probably the best thing would be playing and training obviously.
but does anyone have any other ideas?

play games in training with one or two touch?
or instead make it like 2 or 3 touch but they have to always keep the ball moving it cant stop dead.
thats all i can think of

You should try "Suicide." It's an excellent drill for speed. Set up about 5 (or more) cones in a row about 5 feet apart. Start at the first, then run to the second. Then run back to the first. Then run to the third. Then run back to the first. And so on. My team did this and I have a feeling it will really help us in our next game.
And if you need speed with the ball, keep the cones the way they are and just dribble and weave in and out of the cones with the ball. But time yourself, or have someone time you. And try to go a little faster everytime...but with accuracy.

1. always try to pass into space (as opposed to passing into feet)
2. avoid square balls and switching fields.
3. ALWAYS MOVE THE BALL UPFIELD RAPIDLY
