Fellow US fans ordered tix thru US Soccer and only got the 2nd round conditional ticket.
...These fans then got to order tix through a FIFA sponsor - received Cat 2 tix to US/Czech and US/Ghana matches!
...Then US soccer called back and in their second round, and the same fans received Cat 1 tix to all three US matches!!!
Sounds like a nice problem to have, but friends are utterly paranoid that FIFA and US Soccer will cross check passport numbers and VOID ALL THEIR TICKETS.
What are the chances of that happening? Any experts reading this plea?
They've done nothing wrong, but can't get timely answers from the sponsor, the Federation or FIFA.
The fans would LOVE to transfer their extra tix to desperate friends, but the tix are feeling too hot, so they want to ask US Soccer to CANCEL their extra, better tickets immediately. Should they do it?
