For those who are interested, as they're undoubtedly showing these in the States:

Chelsea vs Liverpool

Ref: Graham Poll
ARs: Phil Sharp and Glenn Turner
FO: Alan Wiley

West Ham vs Middlesbrough/Charlton

Ref: Mike Riley
ARs: Dave Babski and Mike Tingey
FO: Chris Foy

So basically, our 6 most senior referees and ARs on duty. Should be in safe hands.

Yep, all of them have had the final (apart from Wiley and Foy), so won't get it again. (At least that hasn't happened before)

The smart money's on Steve Bennett - our most senior ref not to have had it - but after his performance in the Chelski vs Newcastle game (where he was fooled by a dive by Shaun Wright-Phillips into sending Robbie Elliot off), and with the likelihood that Chelski will reach the final, I'm not so sure. Mike Dean is having a good season, so he is a strong candidate. Howard Webb's also up there, but he has plenty of time ahead of him. And should they go non-FIFA again, which is unlikely, then Phil Dowd seems to be the blue eyed boy at the moment.

But as the appts are made before the semi-finals, I have a sneaky feeling for Mike Dean.
