Are any plans to welcome Giovanni Rossi back to America?

The Man U Reserves will be playing Real Madrid Reserves at PHP this month at the Dallas Cup. Rossi is expected be there.

I hope some on-hand let him know that his continued snubbing of his home country in favor of the Azzuri is not appreciated!

A few American flags would be nice.

Not to be pedantic but I'm pretty sure it's Guiseppi. He might receive the welcome more warmly if "we" called him by his correct name.

At the risk of being pedantic, it's Giuseppe.

Cheers!

If we're going to snub him, then it might as well be Giovanni.

Intersting quote from Rossi in the Ft. Worth Star Telegram today.
Rossi said he's had "a nice friendly talk" with United States national team coach Bruce Arena. However, Rossi, who's also eligible for the Italian national team because of his parents' heritage said, "My thoughts are it's still a bit confused. The decision is still to be made, so we'll see."

I heard that he declined an offer to play with our national team because of his dreams of playing for italy...I wouldn't welcome him.
