I'll be in London during the round of 16 timeframe and I was wondering about catching these games while there. Of course, I hope to be cheering my country with my compatriots. Anyone else going to be in London during this time? Recommendations for catching games?

Sorry I can't make it to London on those dates, but I will be in Paris on the days the quarter finals are being held. How about we meet there? ;)

Obviously the games will be on. I imagine that many Americans will be gathering at the Sports Cafe on Haymarket, amongst pretty much every other pub in the city.

world cup is held in Germany...Why you all Americans fly away from wonderful soccer atmosphere during world cup in Germany?..Why not to stay in Germany and meet there:)....Would be that not better?
Quarterfinale in Germany...many cities will have big screens...atmosphere will be much better..
the world will be in Germany...not in London or Paris
why not Munich, Berlin or Hamburg or another german city!..
World cup in Germany will be great!..french and english people will travel to Germany to enjoy world cup....and you want to watch quarter finale in London or Paris?...
Well Americans always come to Europe for 2 or 3 weeks and want to see whole Europe during few days
World cup is only once in 4 years...special event...and I´m sure we will have no world cup in Europe so soon again.. so use this opportunity
just my tip:)
would be not better to meet in Germany?
