Ok so i was talking to my friend today at school and i had asked him if he had wanted to go down to the nashville match with me come may 23. He responds that it was the weekend for the state high school soccer tourney, which is in nashville. He mentioned that his coach had thought about having the entire team go to the match.

Is there anyway i can get all these guys into sams army for lets say even a bigger discount. The tickets are already the cheapest behind the goals, but i wonder if i talk to the coach if i could convince him to take his team down into the army for the match if i was able to get him a better discount.

I think there is tremendous potential in creating a couple hard core us fans out of this group of kids. Already most of them support clubs across the pond. Just most of them, like most kids, are not aware of the caliber soccer we play in the states. I really think we get at least 5 of them to become big supporters of the nats just by going to this game. I remember how my first game i attended really got me huge into soccer.

so i was wondering what yall think.

definitely get these kids into the sams army section . At the Norway game in January , I brought my whole team into the Sams Army section , and about three of them now are getting US stuff , like jerseys and shirts and stuff , where before they would get like Man U stuff .
They might not be as hardcore as some of us on here , but if they become aware of US soccer , thats a great start.

it's exposure to the section and group that is important and more importantly, it's fun. i took my high school team to an El Salvador game a few years back in foxboro. exhausting and fun. You learn how to be a fan instead of a spectator where fans have an equal part to play in the match. the coach managers, players play and fans cheer/chant/inspire/sing and provide the background atmosphere for a great day.
