Entrevistado por ESPNdeportes.com, Eduardo el Yayo de la Torre, vicepresidente deportivo del Cruz Azul, dijo que sí hubo interés por el mexicano Antonio de Nigris, quien juega en el Ankaraspor de Turquía.
"Hablamos con su representante, pero al final no aceptó nuestra propuesta. En su momento le hicimos saber nuestra decisión".
Enseguida negó que la última contratación de la Máquina, con vista al Clausura 2009, sea Guillermo Franco, integrante del Villarreal de España.

Both the Turkish team and Monterrey were more a fault here. Can really blame the guy. Monterrey's people are very greedy.

Marcelo Carrusca who had returned from injury will be out for 3 months with another injury :(, poor guy Cruz Azul was going to let him show his stuff this season to see if he was going to stay or leave so most likely after this he is gone

I agree man, our defense has played like crap but Yosgart hasn't been in the best of forms as well.

They have been playing terrible lately.
I think many fans are frustrated getting to the finals and losing. With a city with over 20 million people we can't fill a 40k stadium?? That's sad.
