View Full Version : Props To The New Texian Army Logo

Whoever put the TEXIAN ARMY text on the old 1836 logo, that is total CLASS.
I like the little raven logo, dont get me wrong, but I think the old 1836 logo with our name in it is a PERFECT and FITTING tribute. I would like to start using it on some things. I may even make some stickers or shirts.
What does everyone else think?

i agree totally, I was thinking of putting an 1836 logo on a jersey... but that logo might even be cooler

Glad y'all like it. Seemed like the obvious thing to do. If you look closely, the Sam Houston portion is different, too. It's from an actual picture I took of the statue.

I like the 1st version alot. The alternate is ok too though.
If I may make an unbiased observation... that flag would look better w/o the blue. Your home jersey is orange and white therefor the flag should be orange and white.

This is pretty good too. 2 points though:
1) Are those white things underneath/below or sticking out the the Dynamo logo the arms of a star?
2) I'd like it even better if you could figure out a way to sneak General Houston into the desing.
Overall, I think I like the modified "1836" slightly better.

1) yes. Done on purpose.
2) I made a version with the TA/1836 logo, but it was just too redundant. I will make another with Sam Houston instead of a star or TA logo. It also looks okay with just a plain star (like the Texas flag, just in Dynamo colors)
