Kind of like a tennis match, huh.
Or dueling studies?

So people brought out a study that showed that people who pray a lot live on average, 1yr more than others.
Of course, godless heathen scientists also showed that people who exercise regularly live 3+ years longer.
Sounds like somebody who skips mass to play in a Sunday morning soccer league, and prays for the whistle 85 minutes into a 2-1 game, should live 4 or more years more than average...

Of course, making a priority of 10:30 Mass each Sunday probably cuts down on how often you close the bars on Saturday night. Which in itself, might do your life expectancy some good.

The approximate cost per life-year gained was:
$2,000 to $6,000 for regular exercise
For my exercise, I run around a soccer field with a whistle.
After expenses for beer, uniforms, cable TV, association fee, game tickets and travel, I'm almost to the break even point. :)
