I havent worn umbro boots. But i do have legends and they are great boots and really comfy with a great air system. I didnt find them to be that wide to be honest. Maybe you should think about trying both pairs on and see what you think before you buy them?

In my experience with umbros, they are much more generous in the forefoot area. I don't know if they are "wide" like Kelme and AZTIII, but they are wider than most adidas and pumas i've owned. I had the legends and they are pretty average width. I wouldn't call the legends wide at all. I want those umbros, so if you get them, let me know how they are.

you want to get your boots tight i suggest you get the boot with the best leather possible, i.e. puma king or german copa.
legends are nothing special, the bottom wasn't that gentle on the bottom of my feet, the traction was average at best. the leather is cheap crap and it gets really hard after about 3 months. plus the upper can rip and the toe wears out quickly too.
this is my personal story with them, if they feel great on your feet then just go ahead and get them.

i cant try any of them on, as I can only buy online since america is a shithole. Thanks everyone, fast replies, not happy about the leather part of the legends, my friend has those exact legends SG, and he has a massive blister on his foot, but I cant try it on as he is 2 sizes under me. Bah I need someone who has the umbros!

I think if you wear leather boots a lot then you should expect some wear and tear with them. I have massive holes in the front of my copas. So far not had any problems with my legends the leather is still soft and i've found them comfy.
If you dont like wide boots what about vapors?

I would usually clean my legends regularly and polish them... but i wasn't that crazy about taking care of them so i probably didn't do the greatest job on the leather. maybe if you used leather food and stuff the leather would last longer and stay more supple.

thing is, i would start to clean them at first then the first rainy day, or wet pitch, or I come home too tired, I stop doing it, so I never clean them good at all....

weird. mine are about 8 months old, and they look and feel brand new. and I'm not a complete freak when it comes to cleaning my boots. I don't do it unless it's been real muddy out, and I have caked on mud.

for training every day(whether it was with my club or on my own), and games/tournaments- tournaments were every weekend over the summer, and at least 3 games.

Legends are nice boots. And if you take care of them they will be the same as the day you brought them leather wise. They might get a bit of wear and tear on the front though due to them being silver and not easy to polish.
I always clean my boots after every wear even if i've just been having a kick about with my mates and they arent really dirty. They always look like new and last me longer.

i think you made a great choice the leather on the legends is kangaroo so it is pretty thin but if you tie them tight it wraps around your foot
