I haven't seen any new reports of BVB injuries after the Hertha match.
Unless something happens to him in training this week, Metzelder should be on the roster against Frankfurt next weekend.
I don't expect him to start or possibly even play, but he should be on the roster........

Even Degen might be available in Frankfurt.

Slightly off topic, but nevertheless disappointing to see David Odonkor facing a long layoff after the Deutschland-Cypress game. None of the reports I read gave an exact timeframe but regardless, it's sad to see his first season in Spain being such a struggle for him. Here's hoping he manages some first team appearances before the end of the season.

- Degen not available for Frankfurt (probably for Wolfsbug)
- Kehl slowly recovering but not fit before return leg
- Metzelder fit an part fo the Frankfurt squad.

- Metzelder fit and part of the Frankfurt squad.
Unfortunately he suffered a little setback today and will miss Saturday's match in Frankfurt.

This injury might be a blessing. He isn't good enough for that league, but it doesn't seem to have hit him yet.
Maybe he'll get his head together and realize that he has work to do to play in that league.

He's questionable. He's had an inflamed Achilles tendon since training camp. The story should be at the website.

Kehl is having problems with that injured knee again and will not be on the BVB roster for the match in Hamburg.
I'm sure more news will follow in the next few days.

Hopefully its not the same type of knee injury Dado Prso has, it was rumored that he would have to retire (he is aged 32 though, but Kehl is not that much older.)

I'm hoping they are just saying that because they realize he's nowhere near ready to come back yet........
You know, as an excuse. :o
BVB can make some motha focking excuses these days.........

I hope that he'll be back and play for Valdez ... cause I've got a bad feeling concerning the game on Saturday, knowing that we often give confidence to strikers that haven't scored for a long time.

Not from what BVB put out this week. I think Roeber has every intention of starting Valdez.

Nuri Sahin picked up a knee bruise earlier in the week, but is expected to play. At first, the injury was thought to be more serious, but it was not.

News were that it might be a torn ACL. Luckily this time we avoided another serious injury.
At the moment we have 4 injured players:
Wörns: back in 1-2 weeks
Kehl: back in 2-? weeks
plus Brzenska (1 week) and Dede (3 weeks) are still suspended.

Make it five players out for the next match.
