Bayern prolly laughing at us now...

Actually, I don't think so. Bayern will keep an eye on him and if he continues to progress, will attempt to bring him back to Munich in the future.

I think they probably feel sorry for him and us. They really like this kid. They feel he is one of them.

But these days, he definitely feels he is one of us. :D

Didn't we just make his loan deal permanent?:confused:

Yes. Effective at the end of this season.

But this is a problem that should be able to be taken care of.

BVB will not look to get out of the deal as this kid really, truly feels he is one of us now.

They will stand behind him as will the entire fan base.

Mats Hummels Has To Have Surgery – Klopp: “The Darned Ligament Has To Be Repaired”

Klopp & Hummels

The shock over Mats Hummels’ serious injury released near-familiar feelings from BVB coach Jürgen Klopp. “We will wait (for Hummels) like a good wife waiting for her husband to get out of prison”, Klopp said of the renewed unfortunate situation befalling his important central defender. He means Mats Hummels will be granted all the time and support he needs to recover from this injury.”

And this will take awhile. “We think it will be three months”, said Klopp. Klopp then added, “That means the season is over for him. It also means this darned ligament has to be repaired to stabilize the ankle.” Hummels flew to Munich on Friday morning to see Dr. Hans-Wihelm Müller-Wohlfahrt to get another opinion on the aggravated ligament injury. Klopp said, “Everything points to this being a long process. It is not good for us. It is pretty bad. However, we are responsible for helping Mats (through this).”

Just three central defenders will be available for the rest of the season. They are Felipe Santana, Neven Subotic and Uwe Hünemeier. Klopp says Patrick Owomoyela is also an option for the position, stating, “He (Owomoyela) can also play there.”

According to this report (http://www.westline.de/fussball/bvb/index.php) at Westline.de, we will have to wait another three weeks before we can hope to see Kuba back in the lineup.

It also says Tinga is questionable for the Derby.

I forget what a "Pferdekuss" is. I believe it is a deep bruise.

Kevin-Prince Boateng suffered another knee injury during the Stuttgart match.

Right now, swelling in one of the joints is keeping them from making a specific diagnosis.

An MRI is scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday) to determine the extent of the injury.

Just our f'in luck this season!!!

Boateng's MRI was this morning. Partially torn tendon and some slight damage in his right knee.

He'll be out at least four weeks, but it seems he should not need any surgery.

Man, injuries are just f'in KILLING US this season!!

Dede will now have a pre-season
injury layoff.

Dortmund’s Brazilian left-back Dede had a painful end to Dortmund ’s Sunday evening 2-0 test match victory at 2nd Bundesliga club SC Paderborn. The 31-year old suffered a broken jaw and underwent surgery on Monday in Bochum .

Despite the setback, Dede is expected to be fit for Dortmund ’s Bundesliga opener on August 8th against 1. FC Köln. During his surgery performed at the University Hospital in Bochum , Dede had a plate place in his jaw.

Last season Dede suffered a torn ACL in Dortmund ’s 3-2 opening Bundesliga match victory in Leverkusen . He returned on the 23rd match day and played in each match through season’s end.

Dede had already spoken of going into this season full speed ahead and to recover some lost dynamics in his game. However, the football technician must first deal with this setback.

Actually, they say he had some tightness before the tourney, so he didn't play. Hopefully, it is nothing bad.
