I think that should be a lesson to some people and not just "BVBPrevi." Just because you see something on a message board, it doesn't make it true.

Try to verify before you go passing stuff like that along to everyone else.

There has been nothing from BVB or the major sources on any Ziegler injury.

And trust me, this would have not only been in the news, but one of our local Dortmund people on the list would have definitely posted that kind of news.

Here is what did happen with Ziegler. He wasn't feeling well and did not complete training on Wednesday. He thinks it's just a 24 hour thing and expects to be in training today (Thursday).

There was no injury suffered and he should play on Saturday.

May I ask which page that was or which board? Was it BILD? .. We call the BILD the BLÖD (STUPID) here because 90% of what they say is pure BS

You have to continue reading. On the second page, it becomes apparent the "comment" is bullshit.

It's just as I said in an earlier message. Ziegler missed part of training on Wednesday with what appears to be some stomach pain, but he said right afterward that he would be in training today and is fine.

Advice for the future. It's just as Wandi said, when you see something like that on a message board, try to confirm with either the BVB website, "Kicker" or even "Bild.de."

I said "even Bild" because most times, they are faster than "Kicker" or the Bundesliga clubs themselves.

However, this is the problem with "Bild."

They have the Ziegler report, although their "report" quotes Ziegler as saying his availability is "doubtful", when he said no such thing.

With "Bild" you really have to know what is bullshit and what isn't.

But they had more right than the people on the "Westline Message Board."


Westline also reports today that Weidenfeller is fit and could play.


But some actual bad news from BVB.

The BVB Website is now addressing the goalkeeper situation too. I would not be surprised to see Weidenfeller play on Saturday, but not because Ziegler can't play, but because he is the #1 and is fit again.
