Callump, what nerve you have to say that. Goalkeepers save your lazy asses all game. But as soon as we make one mistake we're the most hated player on the pitch. Goalkeepers don't play football, what a crock of sh*t. You're not under the constant pressure of being a goalkeeper. You don't have to get behind all those shots and you sure as hell won't out-train a goalkeeper.

We're strange as hell because nobody else is willing enough to sacrifice their bodies to save the play. Field players sprint for a couple yards and start getting lazy. That's when the ball gets through the defense and the goalkeepers are forced to make a play. It has to go through 10 players, including you, in order for the other team to score.

You know what's funny? American goalkeepers find more success in Europe than the field players.

I know a lot of field players that are d*cks, and you're no exception. Unbeliveable.

I'm a striker who thinks he's a keeper, pretty good at it too. and adikeeper is right.. they save our asses.

personally I think Keppers have the most important jobs on the whole pitch, I donno about you Callump, but when someone gets a red card or doesnt show up you stil have a chance to compete. But when you keeper doesnt show up your SCREWED!!! I know that first hand.

Not quite, but it is out in the sticks! The pics do make the place look like a nice place, but if they were taken from the other side of the pitch you would see a whole new side to Lydd! Like the Nuclear power station and the Lydd army ranges where they test explosives and train for urban combat! Nice place Lydd!
