I would like to hear of successful and unsuccessful attempts at transferring tickets through the FIFA WC website? In particular, which excuses were accepted and which were not accepted?
My situation is that six months ago, myself and three friends purchased three TST3 tickets for Trinidad. We read the FIFA WC website information carefully, and decided to use my parents details on the application and then transfer the tickets into my friends names later because at the time, my friends did not have passport numbers and the WC website implied that transferring tickets would be straightforward.
I am certain that I am not the only genuine football fan in this unfair situation. Any advice or assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.
