well a disappointing draw against the bottom of the barrel club Cologne leads us into a week where one of our rivals plays us for much needed points so they can stay in the CL instead of the Uefa Cup.

We are seven points ahead now, and to make sure we win the BL, we need four more victories out of the remaining six fixture. Now this is the most difficult out of those six so I would settle with a draw but hope for a win.

I like the lineup, only thing is I would rather start Rensing since Kahn isn't still all there. its bogus wasting a sub on a goalie each match. it would be nice seeing scholl, schweini, and/or hargreaves come in the second half off the bench if needed

Schweini becomes better and better now, he had this years many problems and the press was making stupid things with him, but now he is back and will show what he really can do.

Maybe we can play Schweini on the right and Ze on the left, it works, Schweini can play on both sides very good.

I think you are right sister. I know Ollie would hate not starting, but he should know better, as that really screws with lineup adjustments.

Maybe you can tell him?

The thing is that I cannot remember one match when Piggy started and played well. He's always better when he comes on 2nd half , what I believe is actually bad for a player so young like him.
Zé on the left and Piggy on the right it may work but I don't know if an away match against Bremen is the right time to try :)

Rensing handled Milan, of course he can handle Bremen. Naturally I'd rather have a fit Olli.

thats one problem i dont think we will have to deal with when the older guys retire is in goal. i think rensing will be one of the best once he gets his time. but i would rather right now have a fit Kahn if possible.

its not like he has anywhere else to go. there are several fans of every club, but hamburg doesnt really have any on this site so theyve got to roam around in other threads so they exist. like ya there are a good amount of fans of BVB, Bremen, Schalke, Hanover, etc. but i havent seen to many hamburg fans on the boards.

Question to DF, why does every club have a Thread or atleast the bigger clubs like Bremen. Its really time german football start getting the respect that it is due.

On a side note, is the deal with Fox Sports going to get any better, if not im going to have to resort to buying a 10ft satellite and stealing broadcasts. Its really sad that we only get like 1 came a week. Does anybody know whats going to happen with the new TV deal?

Well..sorry to say, but the traffic doesn't warrant one for every Bundesliga team. As for Bremen...you don't have to talk me into it. They are on their third thread for the season. However, IMHO, they need a just a couple more regular posters and then we can make a serious request for them to the SuperMods.

Yup, that'll pretty much be the line up..if you think Magath is starting Rensing, you're deluding yourself.

Schweiny might start instead of Brazzo or will come in second half for either him or Ze.

This should be an interesting game...Bremen are back to their offensive best and we are back to our defensive worst...:D
