View Full Version : why I hate Chelsea...

I'm not by nature envious, and I'm not even very angry that they seem to be built around our best ex players. Nor do I care that they have bought their success with Abramoviches questionably earned billions.
I loved watching Arsenal in their pomp a couple of years back; they played with such flair and passion; their game was pure joy.
This is why I hate Chelsea; they are so utterly joyless. From Jose's expression and public outpourings, to Drogba's diving; their is no heart, no joy, no enjoyment in any of it.
How can anyone succeed in removing the joy from Joey Coles game? It should be impossible but it has been done.
I dont even blame Mourinho, he seems to be as much a victim as a perpetrator, all I know is I hate it. It seems to make a mockery of the game I love.
I have sometimes compared football to good sex: lots of foreplay, lots of play, and the occassional unforgettable climax. Chelsea is a quick knee trembler with a cheap uninterested whore.
I hate Chelsea whereas previously I could never give a toss about them. I guess that's some kind of achievement.

Modern day Fulham are sort of a West Hamesque side in a traditional sense. They have some exciting attacking flair with likes of Boa Morte and Malbranque, but have absolutely horrid defenders that make bonehead mistakes. They are are great at fortress Craven Cottage  but are worthless away from home.

The thing with me and Chelsea is how incredibly ungraceful their fans are in victory. Steven from FFF and WSD is the exception, because he gives credit where credit is due and slams his team (and their gobshite manager) when they deserve it. I think that Blowse Mourinho is the only manager I've seen refuse a handshake all season.
It's like I tell the Chelsea boys (these big ugly skinheads who live thier parents and didn't even know what football was until 6 months ago): "You guys might be the big boys in town, but in 5 years when you're getting relegated I'll still be here cheering the Hammers and you'll be back at the Slayer show beating up 13 year old kids. And if you think you're a tough guy, don't forget that the ICF is the only firm that ever took the Shed, if you even know what that means."
It took me about 2 weeks of their crap to work up the courage to say that, but oddly enough the Liverpool guys (which is the majority of the pub) stood behind me. Nobody there likes them. They're trouble makers. At least the real hooligans cared a little bit about the football. These guys come in, watch about 10 minutes of the actual match, and the rest of the time they're trying to start trouble like they think they're the real deal. They even put on these godawful fake English accents and sing Chelsea songs out in the street while they're smoking cigarettes. And when Chelsea wins they laugh in everyone's faces like a bunch of jerks. Oddly enough they don't show when Chelsea plays Liverpool, probably because they know they'll get banned from the pub or get their stupid heads kicked in.
Of course, this probably only represents about 2% of the Chelsea fanbase, so I'm not generalizing here, but I am saying that the arrogrance of their newer fans is intolerable. They don't know about all the crap years Chelsea spent in the lower divisions and about how up until last year they were a lucky mid table side. I've had more than a few Chelsea fans tease me about the likes of Frank Lampard and the rest of that lot that we pawned off to the blue bastards. They just need to understand, what goes around comes around. Their colors fade easily, but ours are tested and strong forever, as are those of many other clubs that they degrade on a daily basis.
They might be on top of the world now, but the world turns, and the weak lose their balance.
Now go stick that blue flag so far up your arse that it comes out your ears!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Ok, that was my weekly get the Chels off my chest rant...I couldn't give it to my girlfriend again or she'd leave me, and since we were on the subject...:))

The ICF were a bunch of brain dead wankers who were a stain on the face of humanity let alone the Hammers. If you werent there in the 70's I'd keep my mouth shut about particular abberation if I were you. They were/are scum and best condemned to the cesspit of history. Ignorant viscious brainless sh1es.

Actually DJ MAD razo, Chelsea have not been out of the top six of the premier league for the last ten years, and in the years immediately prior to the change of ownership, they had won a European cup winners cup, two FA cups, and the League cup. They had two spells in what was the old second division, so in fact they never spent any time in the lower "divisions" at all.
But don't let that get in your way.
Funny enough, on the rather stupid hoolie thing, I can remember being at a west ham-Chelsea game about 1970 ? when a bunch of 15-16 year olds called the Stockwell mob took the north bank. :p

It's only the plastics that come on other teams message boards to give it large. The 10 real chelsea fans (plus the ones that spent all those years showing up to the bridge dressed as empty seats) wouldn't do such a thing.
Weak and pathetic really (kind of like our performance last sunday). Our performance will improve, but a glory-chaser will never be a real fan.
Incidentally I was in a pub (in Canada mind you) with many so-called chelsea fans and none of them knew anything about "their" club prior to the last few seasons. I stood and asked them if they all rode the same band-wagon to the pub or came in separate ones. All I could get in response was a bunch of losers staring into their pints.
