Whoa!

Stop. Stop there. Right there. Just stop.

An American calling another nation's inhabitants 'lowbrow'!?!?!?

Zinn, you don't even know the period of it.

America>>>everyone else.

Period? You mean the word that describes the time before and after halftime in a match of footie?

America>>>everyone else. If we're talkign about ignorance, your are right... it cake-walks the competition. :p

Period? You mean the word that describes the time before and after halftime in a match of footie? No, period... the word that describes the three seperate sections of play in an ice-hockey match. Since it's all the rage to use it out of context lately, I figured I would jump on the bandwagon. ;)

At least we aren't known solely for our inability to control our drinking. ;)

I've never heard the word 'period' be used in that way. Do tell me more.

At least we aren't known solely for our inability to control our drinking. ;) Oh we can control it. We're just able to contro la whole lot more than your little girly guts & stomachs (which funny enough, are usually twice the size of ours). :p

I've never heard the word 'period' be used in that way. Do tell me more.Well I had never heard it in place of a HALF of football. Ever. And I've been watching football for over 15 years... so if you're going to use the word incorrectly, then so will I. ;)

So what's it like to be from a country that people can't distinguish from Scotland?

I've heard it used correctly on several occasions.

What's a Jesus? ;)

I could totally make a very un-PC comment right now, but because it's Bunny Day, I won't.

So what's it like to be from a country that people can't distinguish from Scotland?Better than being from a country that can't distinguish to completely seperate nations.

I've heard it used correctly on several occasions....and I've heard it used incorrectly.

Well, when you're on the top of the mountain looking down, all of those crazy accents yelling up from the bottom of the mountain sort of blend in together creating one big mess. ;)

I think that statement ended the first period.

My head hurts. And I have a feeling it may have had something to do with the large amount of alcohol I drank yesterday.

oh god. too many to count. i was at my friends house and it was late at night like 130 in the morning, (so i guess it was easter) and we decided to play poker, but who ever lost the hand had to eat something.
My friend Lucas had to eat a spoonful of salt, a tablespoon of butter, 2 spoons of tabasco, and a spoon ful of uncrushed pepper. He threw up.
My friend Ian had to eat a clove of garlic whole with skin and all, and a shot glass full of cat food. He threw up
My friend Nick (Geronamo for those of you who remember him) had to eat 3 pinaple leaves (they cut up his throught) and some sketchy indian lime pickles. He almost threw up.
All i had to do was do a few shots of vinegar and some booze. Then I ate a lot of peeps and threw up.

I hate throwing up. lol

Just spent ********ing 45 minutes on the phone with Dish Network because my receiver keeps freezing and their ultimate resolution was "call us again when it happens and we'll troubleshoot to find out if its the receiver or the switch that's the problem." Idiots... how difficult is it to change one, see if that's the problem, and if not just change the other? I hate customer support (last word used loosely).
