Let me start by saying I know ********all about computers.. I'm writing the code in word and uploading it to my "back page" tool. My problem is everytime I miss a ********ing period or comma or <li> or <br> I have to find it and put it in. Then I have to check it on the non live site before I publish it.. It's ********ing annoying and I thought I paid IT guys to do this shit for me...:mad: :mad:

LOL... syntax highlighting is very useful because you can see, in different colors, where your code is good, where comments are, etc. It's pretty much vital for any kind of coding, even basic HTML changes. Makes it tougher to miss a semi-colon, for example.

Definitely hit up download.com or something and look for a good, basic program that is designed for code editing.
