I went on xbox360.com and tried watching the Halo 3 trailer, and it asks for you date of birth. The ********ing thing blocked me from viewing the damn trailer because I'm not 18 yet. WHAT THE ********!! My birthday is in 2 months exactly from yesterday.

I didn't know it would stop me from watching a video game trailer.

Yes, thats perfect. Thanks for the link.

It looks amazing. I cannot wait for some of the games coming out for the 360. Fable 2, Splinter Cell, Halo 3, Gears of War, etc.

Agreed, I am looking to be spending some of my wages on a 360 & a HD-compatible TV over the summer (probably going to have ot save up bit-by-bit, due to interrailing, mind you). I am not a very big gamer, but some of thestuff that has come out in the last few years is just awesome (and Resident Evil 4 on the GameCube took over my life for a few weeks after Christmas). I make a point to buy Madden every year, though... just a shame they don't make NCAA games for over here as I always loved the idea of importing your own draft class, etc.

Just PM me whenever the new NCAA comes out and I'll get you a copy along with mine. Got your back, bro.

Cheers for the sentiment... but the problem is that there are different regions on Xbox & PlayStation games, to the best of my knowledge. :(

Will it play over in Europe though? Because it's a DVD style disc, and those are usually made differently here than they are in Europe or something like that.

Aw that sucks. I'm gonna have to be honest with you, NCAA is almost on par with Madden IMO. So it's a hell of a game you're missing out on, which really bites.

Different region and different format for the television as well (PAL in Europe, NTSC/ATSC in North America and Japan). I'm surprised they release Madden in Europe, didn't think the demand would be there.

Madden is a reaosnably popular game here... not huge, but more of a cult thing. It has also been very important in terms of getting people into the game (you have NO idea how weird/boring it seems to watch an NFL game before you know the rules). It is constantly growing in popularity though, and when it is released it is usually in the top 5 selling games for 3 weeks or so. I always prebook one a few days before the release, just to be safe because the second shipments usually take a while due to the small yet loyal fanbase.

Oh I think I've got some idea. ;)

I don't exactly come from a sporting family. My dad knew a bit about cricket having played it, but no one knew about American sports. Pretty much had to teach myself by sitting and watching... baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer, tennis, golf, but football was by far the toughest to pick up. Looks like a bunch of guys hitting each other randomly and a ball being thrown sometimes. What the hell is "2nd and 7"? What's a false start, why is the ball kicked sometimes, why can't the guy catch it and throw it again to a guy in front of him, what are the bright orange sticks with the chain for, etc. Tough to pick up when you're eight years old as well.
